I wonder if any of that Deion shine will wear off when Colorado goes 3-9 next year.

It's not that he's visiting other schools. It's the school's he's visiting.

Every recruit visits A&M, Tennessee has been one of his favourites, and every recruit wants to hear what Prime has to say.

There is a general trend on this board that as soon as one of these NIL schools jumps in, many on here freak out or label the kid a bag chaser.

Wingo is tight with the St. Louis athletes at ND, and has a great relationship with Carr.

People can't jump to conclusions. He's a high-profile national recruit, and he's going to do what they all do - take visits.

This. It is funny though when you see simply those three schools mentioned in a vacuum not knowing what other schools he’s visited.

Do you know what other Missouri boy went on the NIL tour. Jeremiyah Love
I'm not trying to say Wingo is a bad chaser or that we have no chance due to NIL. I was only pointing out that those three schools listed together seem like a NIL tour. Is it a bad thing? Absolutely not

A lot of the top programs and brands are pushing to be at the top of the NIL game. Nearly every P5 school will get to that point eventually.

The tour will grow. It’s likely that nearly every ND recruit, whether they end of committing or not, will take part in it.

These four and five star players are probably not going to be visiting Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky, Utah and Texas Tech. They weren't before and they probably won't be now either.

I still think this boils down to who gets these guys to the NFL. Georgia, Alabama and Ohio State can offer that without having to offer smoke and mirrors like Oregon and Texas A&M.

UGA and Alabama have programs right now like Miami and FSU were in the 80s and 90s. They just keep reloading after every NFL Draft. If you get injured, you might lose your spot. Depth and a roster full of future NFL talent. That wins the day.

It’s worth mentioning somewhat since the name of top teams are being tossed around, he doesn’t have an Alabama, Georgia, USC or OSU offer.

It is naive to lump these three schools in particular with kids taking lots of visits.

And your Pollyanna platitudes were the same things said about every top 50 recruit who decommitted (or in Moore's case never committed).

We are in a new Era of recruiting and so far the data points point way more negative than positive. If you think the top guys visiting the biggest NIL programs are just going through the process you better get ready to be disappointed because ND is not participating in the same process.

The board’s NIL crybaby’s trying to convince the rest of us why recruits BE DAMNED for visiting other schools:

Wingo has visited ND, what, five times? He's already been to Tennessee and Texas A&M. No Colorado yet.

I think it's time people wrap their brains around the fact that players are going to visit Colorado. This should not be an Earth shattering concept that comes as a pearl clutching shock to anyone.

Visiting the top NIL programs are going to be a part of the process moving forward. About 90% of the recruits who talented enough to get scholarships from them will check them out. It’s part of the deal now.

I’m anticipating most of ND recruits to do the same, but not so much after they’ve committed.

I think there is or should be just some discernment used in each case? Is the guy choosing to visit a A&M or Miami over better offers? Does he visit ND frequently still? What is mentioned in interviews? What is the commonality between most suitors?

Certainly just visiting A&M once isn’t a red flag but I’d consider all of it. The reason I am particularly down on Justin Scott for example is he just didn’t visit ND in the fall. Ryan Wingo did, twice. Jeremiyah Love did visit A&M, Oregon etc. But he always returned to ND. Once an awkward amount of time passes between last visits and next is a key alarm bell.

Fong'd UGA.

For those keeping track, they're likely to secure a commitment from Raiola today. Not fair.
