That’s dumb. Talent matters, save your moralistic bs for something else.Nope. I don’t want anything to do with a guy like this. If you’re going for the buck, you’re going to be a problem. Let him be someone else's problem.
Yes.We all know he SHOULD just send in his letter to wherever he decides. But would any of you be surprised if he did another clown announcement?
Loy just said Bowen spoke with ND after and told them he wants to go to South Bend...an hour after that he told OK he wants to be there....
He is not remorseful. He is still lying.
Based on what? Being slightly immature and indecisive? There’s nothing that indicates he’s an issue off the field.I wouldn’t blame ND for moving on. He’s unlikely to go through 3 years with no issues at ND and his teammates surely know the above is happening too. If he apologized and just came back to ND and not OU it would have been one thing, but this is madness. Let Mom lose, Dad lose, girlfriend win.
Why? That’s not an elite trio. Hillman has a ton of developing to do. Minich is at his ceiling already. Shuler will be a good college player, nothing special.I’m perfectly content with Shuler/Hillman/Minich.
Bowen is having a very similar recruitment as Moore. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if both end up at 3 different schools over the next 4-5 years.
The guy is clearly more drama than an afternoon soap opera. I don’t care if he can ball. I like what Freeman said, if you are NIL motivated, this isn’t the place for you. That’s dumb. Talent matters, save your moralistic bs for something else.
That’s moronic. You can’t want $ and play at ND? No, he’s an elite player, who pulled an immature stunt. People are acting like he killed someone. The guy is clearly more drama than an afternoon soap opera. I don’t care if he can ball. I like what Freeman said, if you are NIL motivated, this isn’t the place for you.

He should apologize, to his fellow recruits and the coaches. He doesn’t owe the fans anything. If he wants here you absolutely take him but he better apologize
Commitment/loyalty issues, lying, I don't know...I would say there's red flags there.Based on what? Being slightly immature and indecisive? There’s nothing that indicates he’s an issue off the field.
Yup Peace Out. He is going to be a headache. Second 5 star bullet we dodged, only one that sucks is Keeley
Kids change their mind, they do dumb things they think are funny. No, you take him. Let the try hards go to the MAC, this is big boy football.Commitment/loyalty issues, lying, I don't know...I would say there's red flags there.
Quit talking to him, kick him to the curb. He's not better than Hamilton, he's not going to bring a championship all by himself. I'm fine with what we have.
Its more then just the hat thing. The whole end of his recruitment is a shit showYeah, just walk away from a 5* player bc of an immature joke, that’s smart.
Not familiar with youYeah, just walk away from a 5* player bc of an immature joke, that’s smart.
Yep. Too many fans are butthurt over an immature joke. If he did something that got him in trouble with the law or had a history of being kicked off teams, that’s a difft story. He's worth the risk. Worst case scenario is that he transfers out within a year. Best case is that he's a three year starter, two time All American, and a top 15 draft pick.
So? Tuitt’s recruitment was also a shit show. Its more then just the hat thing. The whole end of his recruitment is a shit show
Add the dynamics of an apparent money hungry dad and I can see where he is torn. At some point Bowen has to realize that he isn't going to please everyone around him. If the dad an ounce of responsibility in him he would let the kid decide where he wants to play football. If it's OU or Oregon then so be it. It's his future not anyone else's.Based on what? Being slightly immature and indecisive? There’s nothing that indicates he’s an issue off the field.
Not if mom has a say. Seeing her reaction, ND isn’t out of it.People talking about how they would still take him are missing the boat. He isn't coming. If he didn't choose ND yesterday, he isn't choosing ND today. Nothing has changed about our offer. He's either sticking with Oregon or going to Oklahoma.
Screw this guy. What a douche. Also it looks a lot cooler if you don’t wince and cough while smoking the cigar
Who cares if they want $? ND should pay them. Otherwise, why even bother recruiting elite players if they’re going to get stolen?Add the dynamics of an apparent money hungry dad and I can see where he is torn. Now, I do think he has to own how all this has played out. If he could rewind yesterday maybe he just postpones his commitment until he was 100% certain of where he wants to go. I wish I could rewind some of my decisions when I was 18 so I am not going to be hard on him. Learn your lessons and move on... just hope you make the right decision for not just 2-3 years but for a lifetime. There's clearly one of the three that can offer that. I just hope Bowen can see that in the end.
Well said. It was pretty obvious his Mom wanted ND and Dad wants the bag at Oregon, and his friends/GF want OU.Add the dynamics of an apparent money hungry dad and I can see where he is torn.
