Not gonna lie tho,… even subway with it’s hilarious ‘eat fresh’ is decent enough where I can enjoy it. No doubt I’d rather go elsewhere but yeah I won’t turn my nose up to a five dollar footlong sub. Kind of like a hot n ready I suppose, except I think Subway does better sandwiches than Little Caesar’s does pizza if I’m honest

It cannot be over-stated just how much better and more fresh the Jersey Mike's ingredients are than at every other sub place. And they may not toast their regular subs like every where else, but the few selections they offer as hot/toasted are elite.

And if you get a club or BLT... it's actual crispy bacon! Unbelievably valuable data point in the sub wars. And their pickle slices are legitimately crisp, and substantial, if adding pickles is your thing. And the wheat bread is actually *different* and offers a different experience.

(I think I might be in love with Jersey Mike's now that you've all brought this out in me.)

The "bacon" that other sub places use is insulting to the very idea of bacon. I'm getting pissed just thinking about it.

I will say for Jimmy John's... the kickin' ranch sauce is outstanding.

Mikes kicks butt on the other ‘like’ spots,… firehouse is altogether different from the rest in a number of ways. The only reason I don’t just eat there is how expensive it is.

Mikes: I can get a giant Italian with mayo, spicy relish, lettuce, onions, banana peppers and extra vinegar and it feeds me, my wife and my daughter,… just killer all around

My wife got one of their new chipotle whatever’s last time and I was shocked at how ‘good’ it was for subway. I always stick to my Italian no matter where I go tho
