Loy and Wiltfong discussed this a lot today. They basically made IB look stupid. Loy/Wiltfong told told Minchey what was being said on the podcast before it was being released, so he knew.

Then, of course, IB makes it a dick measuring contest by saying "we knew days ago" blah blah blah.

You're right, I've been beating that dead horse this year about BD I've just seen way too many comments from people this season starting "Driskell says..." like these people don't have an opinion of their own. Drives me crazy. I've got better things to do with 4 1/2 hours.

I quite literally skipped over any news related to Jackson Arnold so just trying to catch up now with this Kenny Minchey news and references related to leaks. I wouldn't be surprised if it's been months - I'm literally clueless on that other than what was said on ISD Power Hour this week and the 247 podcast vague references.

He was setting up a visit and the news leaked out through Twitter through a guy with the handle “CFBWatcher.” Oklahoma coaches then circled the wagons and got him to cancel.

A bit skeptical that it was mainly the leak that cancelled it. Venables adopts policies similar to Dabo I believe. If we assume Arnold was gonna tell OU at some point before the potential visit, they would have probably gotten him to cancel regardless. He wasn’t gonna decommit to visit here

The rumor/thought is that CFB is a 247 subscriber who takes the info and puts it out on his own. That is the thought anyway. Is it ethical? IDK, but if this guy pays for it, I mean... he can kind of do what he wants. I don't think it's much different then if he were to tell his buddy, who then tweets it out. I could be the one who is off base here.

However if it is in fact having an impact on recruiting, that would suck, but wouldn't that really fall back on the recruit, source or ND? If the recruit or school doesn't want it out there, then maybe no one should say anything.
