This is what the staff gets for playing so limp dick on two possessions in a row. Now they can earn their way back out of this hole or get upset and fuck up all their momentum.

Maybe we should run three runs up the middle again and see how it works out.
Haven't you been watching us run up the middle today?

Tommy called a good game last week, this is crap.

The first was good. Then they got comfortable. They don't have the balls to blow people out.

And Pyne is god awful in the second half. That last sack Ray Charles could have seen coming.

What do Marshall, Stanford, and Navy have in common? All of them blitzed off the edge allllll day.

Call a screen to mitigate that shit.
It's so basic. Why can't Pyne just check down? He's not great at going through his reads anyway. Just have Tyree or Estime ready for a short dump off in space to punish these sell-out blitzes.

This is what a good defensive scheme and stopping the run does to teams with bad QBs. Pyne is a FCS qb and it shows.

I'll not be able to watch the games next year if we don't drastically improve our QB situation. I love that Pyne gives us everything he has but it isn't enough for us to be a dominant team.

He just goes brain dead or can't see blitzes coming or something. I mean we've now given up 3 or 4 sacks to Navy. NAVY.

This OL is good enough, it's Pyne and some the RB blitz pickup that is down right painful.

Do we not have a swing pass to Tyree in the playbook?

Because he sucks

Orlovsky has broken it down multiple times.

Dagger:

Deep in, shallow cross, vertical.

He wants the deep in every time. It’s not there every time

Ok everyone @ me. Clearly the open options aren’t the first read. Navy is sending 7-8 every play. This isn’t solely on Pyne. You need to call quick, 1-2 step shots. Or how about a screen? Is Tommy Rees cognitively aware that that is an available play? Or let just run another 2nd and 12 HB draw, I’m sure that’s all Pynes fault as well.

No, Tommy cannot call two great games in a row. Per his contract.

Agreed. A middle screen would have scored on every single one of those sacks.

Exactly. There is stuff open every single one of these sacks. He is staring down deep throws and then just eating the sack.
I honestly think he has trouble seeing those guys and is butt-puckered about having another tipped pass for an INT.

Halftime plus that long first drive killed the offense. Almost an hour break.

On one of the sacks they leaked a RB (I think) into the flat and there was no one within 10 yards of him and Pyne didn’t even look to his safety valve.
