Just watched a clip of Ohio State running a fake punt up by 39. Rutgers guy laid the wood out of bounds as he should on that play. If I’m the ref I let Schiano go after Day and see what happens. Such an OSU thing to do.

He’s an excellent DL Coach & recruiter.

He was in Little Rock a few weeks ago when he discussed his buyout story at the LR Touchdown Club. Good stuff...but not enough to make me want to hire him as my HC of a P5 school.

It this advances to a consensus ND refusing to get into bidding wars might not be as big a problem after all

The kids are getting guaranteed money so if they don’t work hard or play to their potential who cares. If they don’t make it to the NFL they have some money. But you know as well as I do that people aren’t going to save that or put it in a savings account.

It’s a big problem for college football. If these guys are getting money but places like ND lose in recruiting the whole game suffers… ND included.

He had a three year run at LSU from 2017-19 but apart from that his career has been a disappointment. He completely lost himself after winning it all with Joe Burrow and a mega talented team with Dave Aranda as DC.

I loved his story at LSU more than most, but he completely lost the plot after the won the National Championship. I wouldn't touch him if I were a P5 school, but a G5 with nothing to lose in the Sun Belt could take a flyer. Why not?
