He could have kept his mouth shut too, said some rather inflammatory things. Thought his poop don't stink. He's not looking so hot anymore and it looks like Rees made the right call going with Book. I always wish transfers the best once they leave, but if you're trash talking the school on the way out you're burning a bridge and in this case creating drama and exaggerations.

Not trying to defend Phil, but all he really knew of the inner machinations of ND was what he saw under Kelly/Long.

I think he simply let a bad relationship with the men in charge seep into ND as a whole. Still, no sympathy.

Though, I do give him some sympathy for having to endure playing behind what has to be the worst OL in the FBS. Nobody should have to deal with that crap and every game, he's risking getting his head knocked off.

Remember Pyne's cousin who was a hot shit recruit until he wasn't? (And thus of course landed at BC). He does not seem to be on their OL depth chart.

Needs to take a Covid year and rebuild his draft status at someplace.

Another QB bust, I am not shocked. I had sideline passes one year and met Andrew Kristofic's dad, he of course praised him, but things just are not working out for him.

DJ Uiagalelei is going down the same path, is Dante Moore next? I like what I've seen with CJ Carr, but to me a 5* QB high school recruit is just a title to a story to read.

DJ has always had the arm talent IMO… problem has been offense design and slow processing in the past. We’ll see what happens when he plays a real defense.

He's got one terrible, terrible OL, but that's still surprising. I know he was a trendy NFL draft player in the offseason but I doubt that's happening at this juncture.

Really surprised to se DJ U ranked ahead of Hartman
