My guess (and that is all it is) was that was an attempt at clock management as well. He personally didn't care if UNC knew we were gonna pound it in. I think he was thinking they will either burn more clock or UNC will use some timeouts. Just a guess though.

They look like they know who they are attacking on every play and getting it done. Moving to the second level much better as well.

Pyne has played well, Tommy has called a great game. He's working play action, running RPOs, leaning on the run game. OL feels like I'm watching a completely different football team, and frankly has felt that way since the 2nd quarter against Cal. Long way to go today and in the season, but so far so good. Still maddening that Chris Tyree had 12 TOTAL touches between Ohio State and Cal. Infuriating.

Defensively, I feel like we gave up a few plays that were more than I feel like we should have.

But the only chunk plays have come from a combination of:
1. Elite pass
2. Elite catch

Very encouraging.
