Just turned down free tickets. Never done that before.
Man, I couldn't do that. No matter how bad we've been I would force myself to go. I think we will do well this week.

We are on our way to a 7-5 type season.

There were a lot of moving parts. But I feel deflated. I'd prefer to go walk campus and hit the grotto than see the football team right now.

Tailgate, grotto, campus walk, and bar for a nice meal and cocktails sounds like a great day....even if you're not inside the stadium.

I don't care if they were 0-11 and you know they were going to lose game number 12 i would still go. If you can't cheer for them at their worst you don't deserve to like them at their best.

Deserve? Meh. I am far more a fan of Notre Dame as an institution than the football team. Football is supposed to be fun. This isn't the Detroit Lions. It's an institution in and of itself.

Still planning on taking the 6 hour trek Friday night after son's game. Hope they can figure out the mighty Cal Bears.

I definitely wouldn't turn down free tickets if I was local, but I turned down free tickets last week for Marshall and thank God I did. Hard to plan on short notice with the 4+ hour drive with lodging and food requirements.

Do have 4 tickets this weekend and although my enthusiasm for Saturday has dwindled to basically nothing as far as the kickoff at 2:30, I always look forward to seeing campus, tailgating and visiting with my extended family.

Yup, I watched every miserable game in both 2007 & 2016. There’s always hope.

SP+ has us winning 32-12. Tend to agree that we'll come out with a fire lit under our ass here.

I watched them all too........ from home. I wouldn't indulge in person to watch those messes, or this current squad, unless Notre Dame stadium starts allowing alcohol sales.
Me, too. No way was I spending money for their overpriced product when they were basically giving away tickets.

Bright side if this year goes sideways, think of the clearance sale of overpriced ND gear!

Gonna be heavy amount of outbound OL transfers in the offseason methinks

You can lose a locker room real quick this way. Challenge everything turns into just challenge what I tell you too. That happens pretty quick when you start losing. Guys notice that. The fact that Lugg and Correll's jobs are not up for grabs is exactly what's been wrong with the OL mentality for multiple years. Entitlement and experience over growth and talent.
