Isn’t it though….dems 🦗
I dont think the agents should be limited to who they can audit by statute.

If the IRS has any self-awareness though that's who they will look into. Regardless, will be driving busloads of voters to the right.

Society is so damn confused, some of it is just sad. I saw #LGBWithoutTheT and #LGBDropTheT has been trending the last few days. There's like a civil war going on right now between the LGB side and the Trans people. Some of the comments are wild, no idea what started it, but it seems there's a very toxic group of trans women that have lashed out at mostly cis-lesbians.

Some of this stuff is wild, trans people that are pissed that LGBs won't date them, or mad for various other reasons. There's a lot. Gotta say I stand with the LGBs, some of these takes are just ridiculous. I think some of these T's need help.

Chappelle had a whole bit about the LGB not getting along with the Ts on one of his last specials. Kinda funny seeing him get shit on for being a harbinger of what was to come.

Funny that gays ask for inclusion and compassion then go after the T's. smh

What if they are both right? LOL at the spread on lazy.
That was the most surprising to me. I expected both sides to fling mud on intelligence, closed mindedness, etc. Didn't expect such a gap on laziness. I'm honestly curious what drove that. Position on government handouts? Less physical labor, more white collar workers? Pushing to more than double the minimum wage? No idea.

Feels like the trans community is attacking the LGB's more than anything. A lot of them seem pissed off that a lot of cis lesbians aren't interested in dating trans women. They're accusing them of transphobia, among other things. There's other factors in there, but that seems to be one of the big ones. Seems like the T's are trying to bully them into changing their preferences, but that's just me.

When you think of the "extreme" of each wing (which is the kind of caricature a lot of people conjure up in their minds when responding to this kind of survey) here is probably what comes to mind:

Republican:
1. White male CEO Boomer who "got his" and says fuck everyone else. Seems unlikely that one would use "lazy" to describe that kind of person, although it would certainly apply to the "shareholder" class.
2. Rural redneck farmer type. Uneducated. Also seems unlikely anyone would categorize them as "lazy" people don't associate rural America with laziness.
3. Uber-Christian "ethical" Conservative who hates abortion and things like that. Again, not really aligned with laziness.

Democrat:
1. Zoomer Twitter warrior with pronouns in their display name that spends their entire day going REEEEEEEEEE on the internet and chasing digital clout. Lazy.
2. The highly educated academic who spent near a decade in higher education and now wants other taxpayers who didn't go to school to pay for their student loans. Lazy.
3. Public employees for local/state/federal government. Often considered lazy, even if they aren't, because these jobs are the antithesis of ambition in most cases and involve stable hours.

None of these caricatures really captures a "typical" voter -- suburban "traditional values" white family for Republicans or urban working class minority for Democrats -- neither of whom most would call "lazy." But that's rarely who people think about when asked to make a generalization.

Good points. Makes sense if you go with certain stereotypes that can certainly perpetuate the laziness theory, and being stereotypes they can certainly be bogus too. I've seen some lazy CEOs in office environments, certainly not all. Makes me wonder if they did put the time in to get to that position or just got lucky  Then you've got young teachers which are often Democrat and some of the hardest working people out there, putting in extra time grading, preparing lesson plans, etc. At the end of the day it's a perception based on generalizations like you said, whether they're true or not. That's probably a number of factors contributing to it.

The start of defunding mental health treatment during the Reagan years ended up being a big issue I think.

This lady is going to roll Liz Chaney and will be a member of the House.

Prob not even going to be top 5 on the nutjob scale. Cheney needs to be tossed, but someone a little calmer would be better. However, Joe's open borders have done wonders for human traffickers.

Also- I recall tons of outrage a week or so back about LYING LIARS from some here- anyone care to fact check our Speaker?

Experts and independent reports say the act contains no direct tax increases on those with incomes below that threshold, but it may indirectly lead to some adverse economic impact in households.

We can all understand the difference between political selective presentation and accusing someone of being a pedophile or claiming election fraud without proof.

Then again, a 42 year old man just committed suicide by cop because he thought the guy who was in Home Alone 2 is being treated unfairly. So maybe not everyone can understand it. I think you and I do, though.

I can't find the tweet now, but there was a congressman that was on Capital Hill at 9:30 this morning for a committee meeting. He headed to the airport after that and was submitting his vote via proxy because of the "ongoing health emergency".

That was before Biden’s Nuremberg speech where he called his political opponents fascists.

Overall environment will help the GOP moving towards November. Pennsylvania Dem candidate is incapable of debating and has a big spend coming against him too that could make things interesting.

IDK man. 538 generic polls show majority want democratic congress and the women vote is pissed. Also show Dems likely to pick up multiple Senate seats while holding on to almost all of their current ones. House is now a tossup for Dems to remain in power but the abortion topic and general corruption of the GOP is a big deal for Dem turnout.

GOP wont put abortion back on any referendums ever again after what happened in kansas. That means getting a congress and president to legislate and codify is a huge deal for women. All the special elections have recently gone for Dems by a decent margin.
