They don't hold the same place to me anymore than a tractor trailer, truck, car or skateboard hold to me. Other than that they are transportation.

Not sure what polygamy has to do with two consenting adults getting married? I don't consider them to be equal by any stretch. I consider marriage to be marriage, so between two consenting adults whether it's straight or gay that's ok to me.
If you were given the choice of allowing gay marriage in your state, would you say yay or nay?

I am geniunely curious what your beef with polygamy is? If its above love and we cannot control who we love and if all adults are consenting why get in their way? It does not affect you, right? I am seriously baffled you or anyone on that side of the isle would be against it. It meets all the criteria of "it does not affect me so I dont give a shit" value system of the left.

I was going to respond to your questions but I see that you're still personally insulting me. I won't do the same. We can disagree without being disagreeable and treat each other with dignity and respect.
Part of the problem our country is having right now is that we are dehumanizing those who we disagree with. I'm Sloth, North Dakota is a backwards hillbilly, etc. because we have traditional views of marriage. The right does it too. Again, I apologize for being coarse and clumsy in my earlier comments. The point was, I could have said tree and meant the same thing.(the Supreme Court creating rights to new types of marriage out of whole cloth.
