I thought it was reported by EJ or one of the ND sites that the process was weighing on him back in March? Which then prompted the rumors of him committing to ND and shutting it down before the summer? IDK man, this whole recruitment has been a wild one. Wish the kid well, hope he comes here.

I really do hope EJ keeps pushing that ND is "getting Dante" that way their sad ass fans can eat shit and so they can see how "inside" EJ is with the recruits.

Problem is NIL has made recruiting all the more difficult for all these kids. Bottom line kids like this dude is getting money no matter where he goes. If he was smart he would take that out of the equation and pick the school he likes without considering money. The money will be the cherry on the top. Pick the school you want to be at and be done with it.

All gas, no brakes. I do think the logical sense here is MF and Rees finally have leverage with CJ in the fold. We can keep recruiting Dante til the end, but also open the board up now because it’s no longer “all or nothing” with a ‘24 5 star in the fold. I like this, a lot.

I don’t like how this narrative could shift to ND settling for Carr because Moore “chose” Michigan when it seems the opposite.
Or that Carr settled for ND because he got wind that Moore was choosing Michigan. (I’m saying this is what people will say not what I think).

If he's worried about a kid in the class behind him committing then that's on him. Dante would have an entire year on campus before Carr arrived. And who knows? Maybe Moore would be a EE and depending on how Buchner performs he could be the starter in 2023.

Can't help but think there are about 100 more turns left in this recruitment. I wouldn't put to much weight in anything at this point positive or negative.
In the last 48 hours, ND Silent, chasing bag to A&M, A&Ms out of it, UM who has been in the margins on this recruitment is now the front runner, ND no longer recruiting him , ND still in it and one of his leaders. Should be a LSU mention coming up soon, a Miami is all in with a big check, Oregons making a push. Who knows what's left for us here.
