This kid is as close to an ND lock as they come.

Sounds like it’s coming down to ND and Stanford. Some SEC schools may make a push but he values the academic side of things. In addition to his visit March 18th, he’s already planning another one in June. Plan is to commit in the summer and be “110% committed”.

Would be good to get him. Top-15ish at his position, and hopefully the first of about 3. The other WR from TX would be nice. And then maybe another similar player and/or Hanafin.

ND won't fix the WR room in one cycle. It will be a 2-3 year fix. If Tate comes, while I would be excited, I will also be waiting for him to transfer. The Tate's of the world don't seem to ever work out either coming to ND, or lasting at ND. Not to say ND can't and shouldn't get some Top-5ish WR's though. I think that is more likely in the next cycle though.

How about that prospect Braylon James, heard he was worthy of his own profile in IE.

Well, I never argue with "unknown"

But I prefer Robin Williams on golf:

That Golden Tate guy did ok.

Totally get what you are saying here, but we're in a new era. They need to start putting more chips in the center of the table on guys like him.

As for James, I hope he and Greathouse sign on regardless of whoever else joins them.

Per his Twitter: "Big News coming this Friday".

I'm guessing Top 23 schools he will be focusing on?

James will have his first visit to ND the 18th-20th. It sounds like they lead without him ever visiting so this visit could put them over the top for a commitment. His relationship with Stuckey is huge, but he's also built a great relationship with Freeman, Rees, and Bowen.
This is not insignificant.

Stanford is a very attractive option for an kid, who with his family, is SERIOUS about making a 40 year decision.

I mean, you could strike up a friendship with Sergei Brin or Larry Page

Chansi Stuckey. Man, I am glad you are here!

Wonder why on3 hates him. Would be awesome to wrap him but before Dante Moore visite.

On3's rankings are so bizarrely out of whack on A LOT of kids.

This is the same rankings that have Drayk Bowen ranked outside of the top 200 and Rhett not ranked at all. Best to complete omit them. They've been getting a ton of flak for their crappy rankings from a bunch of their boards.

On3 doesn’t hate him, Charles Powers (I thinks that’s his name?) hates him.
One dude, yes, one dude, did the On3 rankings. The fans on all the sites have been tearing him apart & when he comes on to explain his stance he digs even a bigger hole.
He dropped Bowen in the rankings because the only 40 time he has seen registered was from two years ago, hasn’t seen him actually play in person, and says he isn’t athletic and lacks laterally movement…despite Bowen being recruited by major baseball programs in the country as a SS/CF and easily dunks as a BB player. So pretty athletic with lateral quickness.

Wasn't On3 the one where a lot of ND commits were extremely high? And now that subscribers from ND have signed up the rankings are terrible. Now I'm not saying conspiracy but...

On3 is composed of charlatans and a lot of what they're trying to do is utter nonsense. Their NIL "valuations", etc. Their goal long term is to be super edgy and build exclusive relationships with athletes where they'll only talk to their site... and by doing that, they will have a monopoly on info (and also get a cut of NIL money they bring in for players). It's ridiculous.

ND fans really need to stop giving their money to Powers and the rest of these grifters. Their model is unethical, and their interests directly conflict with the University's.

The money doesn’t go to Power, it goes to Shannon Terry, who started Rivals & 247, now On3.
He doesn’t give 2 poops about any of this now, he is just cashing checks. They have so many stupid features on there it is obviously only about money for them.

I used to piss on dollars, throw them out a second story window, and then watch to see who would pick them up. In my mind, there are zero issues with giving "Powers and the rest of these grifters" a dollar also.

Is this a randomly generated post?

Nah, just a story driven example of how silly it is to tell people to stop giving money to On3. I'm confident that all but maybe a few outliers, have only paid 1 dollar to On3.

I used to throw Cadbury Eggs from the balcony of the 5th floor of a hotel to watch them on cars. Then I turned 9 and stopped.

It’s nicer than crapping on them and throwing them out the window to see who would pick them up.

Thats true.

From a professional standpoint. If your kid pees on things of value, then waits to see if people touch it because it gives them joy...

Surround them with the best therapists you can afford.
