Curious to see if "Trudeau hung in the town square" will receive any pushback from IE's squad. Surely advocating for a someone with political differences to be hung would spark a comment.

How credible is this threat? I searched for that phrase and Google didn't really come up with anything. I would think if this was a legit threat it would have garnered more news, but my guess is it was one or two crazies.

I distinctly reminder saying as a joke Drayer's least favorite month was February, and got a pretty big pushback. People have made comments about their political rivals being dictators or that they should be hung, and there has been crickets. Just an observation. I don't expect anyone to be impartial.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R) signed legislation Thursday that banned transgender girls and women from competing in women’s sports at schools, colleges and universities in the state. The legislation will take effect immediately.

Iowa is the latest state to introduce similar legislation, along with 10 other Republican-led states to that have passed laws restricting transgender athletes from competing. Reynolds said the law is “a fairness issue” in February because of what she said are athletic advantages for transgender girls, per the Des Moines Register.

The law will require schools to list school-sponsored athletic events as either a men’s, women’s or coeducational sports. To compete in a women’s sport, an athlete’s gender must be the gender listed on the birth certificate of the student. The same stipulation is not mentioned for men’s sports.

The law also allows students to sue if they believe they’ve suffered "direct or indirect harm” based on a school violating the law. Other states adopting similar legislation have been embroiled in legal battles, and the new Iowa law appears to be on the same course.

They could've made a difference by calling it "Racially Mixed Trans Bois Can't Jump" and centered it around a racially ambiguous transgender homeless person who's been trod upon by White Supremacy and the patriarchy who finally decides to transition to being their inner woman and shows they can throw down on the court with everyone. You'll laugh. You'll cry. It could've been the bold, brave film we all need to change the world.
