Entering 4 games in 7 days. Brey's short bench will bite us in the ass eventually. Thankfully 3 of the 4 are at home.

Almost did yesterday. They still struggle w/ ball handling despite running a 4 guard offense. I know UVA is known for their defense but man did ND make that much closer than it should’ve been.

The ACC is down this year and ND is taking advantage of it. They are still beating solid teams, but I think they are a one & done in the NCAA tournament this year.

Next year's team will be much better. Our 3 big seniors have stepped up their game.

Blake is great and is making everyone better, but he still plays like a freshman (he has got to realize he can run the baseline while inbounding the ball).

Beat Duke tomorrow and ND deserves to be in the top 25.

We aren't even in the bracket of any Bracketology sites. A win against Duke will not get us into the top 25. It will get us into the bracket though.

I don’t think either the polls or bracketology are yet updated from the UVA and NC State wins. Duke alone won’t get them in the top 25 but if they follow that up by beating Miami, it would very difficult to keep ND out of the rankings especially as Kentucky continues to climb.

None of this matters if they don’t beat Duke of course. Need to take care of business tonight.

ESPN's is updated for NC St. but not Virginia. They don't have us in "the first four out", they do have us in "the next four out". Doubt the Virginia win would have much sway.

Brey IMO is done, his recent rehires are what’s kept his ship afloat. It’s time to move on! Sad but true!!!

Terrible offensive showing. Blake showing why another year would really help him.

Good to see the young guys do some good things at the end though.

We all knew if we weren't hitting threes we would have no shot in this one so this isn't a great surprise. Just need to be better next time.

Would have been good to get the win, but the final was not unexpected. It's a typical NDBB season.

Agree. Any clues on which way he's leaning?

I was distracted by the migration and completely forgot they were playing Duke last night. After watching the recap on sportscenter this morning, I'm glad I missed it.

What a joke of a performance by them last night. Blake definitely needs one more year. The talent is there but he’s too often forcing stuff and the last 3 games have been a struggle.

Cormac Ryan needs to processed out.

Brey needs to learn to rotate the squad. This isn’t new, but the tight schedule is hurting them. Zona and JR should be getting at least a few minutes. Saunders too. Not saying it would have caused a world of difference last night, but you just can’t come up so flat in a must win.

If this wasn't Duke's lowest point total for the season, it was one of the lowest, however ND failed to score 45 points for the first time in ten years or something like that.

I figured the little run they were on would end last night. They need to set it and forget fast since they have another tough one coming up quick.

I thought Cormac was actually a bright spot last night. By the second half he seemed to be the only person playing with urgency and hitting shots.

Atkinson had the mentality and energy but could not consistently beat the Duke big man.

well he only hit one shot but Ryan has become a decent all around player who does play with "urgency". Defends, rebounds and can handle the ball some. But that reputation as a great pure shooter must have been based on that New England prep school competition because he cannot shot worth a damn.

I admittedly turned it off with 15 minutes left in the second half, but in the first half he had a couple turnovers, a missed easy layup, and two missed free throws. The scouting report on him was a 3 point shooter. We need him to be a Colin Falls type player for us. A scrappy defender who can’t score is not what this team needs, IMO.

It’s typical ND sports outcomes, sooooo many of us have longed for the pinnacle only to be let down too many times.

I’m a Mike Brey fan, but it’s time to move on. I’m sure he can muster another run into the tournament, possibly even this season. But! He does not have what it takes to make NDBB a powerhouse program in today’s world.

Remind anyone of another recently departed coach? He too couldn’t or wasn’t able or willing to get that program to the top.

When you realize in your own personal lives that something isn’t working, usually it doesn’t take a decade or more to make a change, does it? This is true with most collegiate sports today. Gotta keep up with the times.

Thank you for your service, thanks for everything you’ve done, but we’re headed to the top.

Not really. Kelly did reinvent himself and fought for a lot of changes. He even got more involved in recruiting. Not at a level we wanted but he did up his game. I'm just not seeing it with Brey.

A win gets two posts. A loss, the thread goes on roid rage.

Hmm.

UNC, Miami and ND are all 8-3 in league play.

Blacked out again - fifty damn basketball games on every night but somehow ACC games keep getting blacked out when I live in the center of ACC country. Then again - seems we win when I can't watch and play like six thumbed invalids when I can (Dook). On that note, I hope I am blacked out of the rest of the games.

6-3 they're out without winning a couple in the ACC tournament. 7-2 likely last 4 in. 8-1 probably a 10-8 seed. Every single game is winnable.

What is your cable provider? Any chance you have access to ESPN3?

I can usually get about anything by through ESPN+ app through Spectrum if it isn't available on FUBO. ACCN seems to pick a game and shitcan the rest. Technically my Spectrum subscription is eastern NC. Either way, ACCN is shit for restricting any viewing anywhere. I will never understand the business case for black outs - only remotely viable case is competition for ticket sales.

Blacked out of the NCST game IN SOUTH BEND and the Miami game IN MIAMI - WTF you idiots, this is not competing with ticket sales?

Interesting, I figured if you had access to the ESPN streaming app nothing would be blocked out at all. I again didn't even realize there was a game last night until it was over because I didn't see it listed on my tv guide. Should have checked the app I guess.

Not true. If you have Dish Network all the games on the Sinclair owned RSN are blacked out because Dish has refused to pay the rates Sinclair is asking. When you go to stream the game they know your location and ask your provider and if your in a location with a Sinclair RSN and a Dish subscriber its a no go. Pisser in that I've got a contract with Dish, not Sinclair.

YouTube TV users can use the ESPN app to stream the games.
However, I’ve heard of people near the SB area having difficulties with the black out.
