Who's upset? People have simply been pointing out the double standard. In all honesty, I watched the clip, and my take was that Biden was saying it in jest. Like, "C'mon, of course inflation is bad for me, dude." And then Biden is getting praised as a stand up guy because he called Doocy to "clear the air." Well, ok, that's something, I guess. I may be totally wrong, but as of yesterday morning (when I quit following the story), I also hadn't read that Biden actually apologized or said the actual words, "I am sorry." So again, it seems a double standard would be in play regarding Biden.
As for the second part of the bolded, you are again upset about the phrasing of the question. Please tell us when Biden is available to answer all these well-phrased questions from the media? There is a reason he is literally called "Hidin Biden." The president just days earlier that he wanted and needed to get out and campaign for other dems, and inflation is not only real, it is probably the biggest issue voters are concerned about. So Doocy asked, as Biden's handlers were, yet again, removing press. Was Doocy expected to wait another year for Biden's next press conference to ask him? And besides, it seems Biden understands Doocy and his role better than you, evidenced by this quote from Doocy regarding the matter: 'And we went back and forth, and we were talking about just kind of moving forward, and I made sure to tell him that I'm always gonna try to ask something different than what everybody else is asking. And he said, ‘You got to.’ And that's a quote from the president, so I'll keep doing it."
The victim blaming by you in the second part of the bolded is quite noble as well. I'm sure that goes over well when you ask a victim of domestic abuse, "Well, did your phrasing or composure maybe mean you deserved for your husband to beat the hell out of you?"
