Maybe, and I really hop I am right, but it seems to me that if they were going to jump ND it would have been a couple if weeks ago when they wrecked TCU and we looked ok vs Virginia. Since then ND has only looked better.

I expect Ok St to jump us this week.

My prediction:
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Bama
4. Cincy
5. OK St
6. ND

Me too. Will be interesting where they put Bama and Georgia if Bama ends up winning. Doubt they would want an immediate rematch.

For sure KH will play in a play off.
Just not sure about BF. I suppose if he is 100% give him a run.

There Is absolutely nothing for sure about this.

He will be multiple months removed from his last game. I would think his risk of injury (I'm thinking more soft tissue) would be really high trying to get back into game shape at this point.

KH should be done done.

If OK State wins out they are jumping ND 100%. They will have beaten three top 10 teams and won a conference championship.

We need them to lose and we need Cincy or Michigan or Bama to lose.

Did everyone forget that ok st lost to a now 7-5 Iowa st team? They also currently have a worse SOS. They shouldn’t jump us this week.
Next week if they win then I’ll be worried

Ok St absolutely deserves to be in over us if they win next week. They can laugh at our “good” win against Wisconsin, as they’d have wins over Oklahoma and Baylor x2

I just looked at Oklahoma State's schedule and results and it is even less impressive than ours. Their shedule is littered with close games against bad teams. Their only "good" wins are Oklahoma and Baylor, who aren't that impressive this year either. I think we would be OK St. by a couple scores.

Absolutely agree. Ok St's schedule is very, very weak, even with a (potential) Big 12 championship. And as you've said, they haven't played well even against bad, bad teams.

The Big 12 is a dying conference, and extremely weak. The top 3 teams have racked up their wins by beating up the likes of 7-5 Iowa State and Kansas State, 6-6 West Virginia, and other world beaters like 2-10 Kansas. Don't forget OKST's 7 point win against FCS Missouri State. That's why, despite sterling 11-1 and 10-2 records, they are on the outside looking in. And have been throughout the season.

Mark it down, OKST doesn't jump ND this week.

At this point...

Georgia wins, UM wins, Cinci wins, ND SHOULD be the #4 team.

But I’m a big Georgia, Iowa, Houston, and Baylor fan next weekend just for good measure

Don't root for all of em. If you let Bama back in we're coming for ya.

By name only--nobody has liked Oklahoma the whole year, particularly the committee. 2 spots behind a 2-loss Baylor says a lot. It's not going to move the needle unless OKST beats Aranda, and soundly.

I have zero faith ND gets in if they are fighting with OK State for the fourth spot after the Pokes beat #10 and #6 in a two game conference championship tourney while ND beat #92 & #93.

I agree. The committee doesn't penalize for winning. I expect us to be 5 and OKS 6. If the committee wants them in the playoffs then there's no reason why a win next Saturday wouldn't do that over an idle ND.

The only reason OK St wouldn’t jump us this week is for the committee to create drama and buzz leading up to the final standings.

The committee is run by conference directors. They value conference champions above all else. Ok St will jump us if they win against Baylor.

What kills me is that all of those Big 12 teams are total garbage. Every single one of them. It shouldn’t even be considered a Power 5 conference.

Here we are rooting for one team that sucks (Baylor) to keep another team that sucks (Oklahoma State) from taking our spot in the playoffs.

Need 2 of Alabama, Cincy and OkSt to lose. UM might have shot their load against OSU but I don't think they'll lose to Iowa.

Iowa is worse than Baylor and Oklahoma State now way Michigan loses to them. But I’ll still root for Iowa.

100% agree. The Big 12 is not good this year. We would beat Ok st, Ok and Baylor easily I believe. It sucks for us that ok st could be the benefit of a shitty Big 12 year and get rewarded for it.

I just can’t believe the luck we have when it comes to the playoffs. 2018 and 2020 we play the champions and get routed cause they are some of the most prolific offenses ever. Then this year the playoff field is gonna be weak and we might get left out. It’s extremely frustrating. I know it’s our fault for not beating cincy but this playoff field is so soft compared to the years we were in it. Frustrating stuff

Want
Bama

Zero possibility, but f me if they aren't the most overrated team in the top 10.
I would also settle for Cincy beating the everloving sh*t out of them if ND can't get in.
Also would be down for UGA to curbstomp and shut them out for the SEC title.

I can see Bama dropping a spot to #4 which would drop them out if they lose to UGA. Don’t know if they will win, but Iowa’s built to beat scUM.

The door is still open. Just don’t know how wide.

In another forum after the VT game I talked about how the coaches royally screwed us, because you could tell that this was a year where anyone could win it. It’s really too bad we couldn’t get our shit together to beat Cincinnati.

ESPN on multiple platforms said a loss yesterday DID NOT MATTER if they beat UGA in the SECCCG.

I believe you called it a "complete failure" which is laughable considering we're 11-1 and in the top 5.

Agree. It would be Michigan type of luck to make the playoffs this season. We had some all time powerhouses when we made the playoffs. I am still holding out hope the committee has common sense and looks at the weak OK St. schedule and results. There is a reason they haven't liked the Big 12 this year. I think the committee knows it is brutally bad. I also think the committee has said good things about ND recently. They know they are playing their best ball. It would be really hard for them to leave us out right now. I think the greater worry is Alabama beating Georgia and them both getting in. No way we get in if Bama beat Georgia and UM and UC both win. I wouldn't be shocked to see Houston win, though.

The reason we will be left out is due to piss poor coaching on the offense against Cincy. Cincy is no better than Baylor or Oklahoma State. The play calling, the game plan and decisions QB are the reasons we lost that game. A lot of other programs probably fire Rees over that performance. As much as it sucks the reason we will get left out is our own fault.

I want to play Georgia to see if this team has actually improved or if it fools hold due to the competition we have played.

***I don’t care who you are but Freeman’s squad goi g 14 quarters with no touchdowns is flat out awesome.***

This is absolutely not the narrative on tv. If Bama wins the SEC they are in and they are thought to be in with a loss to UGA. Eyeball test something something.

To the win the SEC they would have to beat UGA, wouldn't they?

They are not getting in if they lose to UGA. If they beat UGA they will get in.

Yeah, go look at ESPN’s playoff predictions. Seven of the fourteen writers voted Bama in the playoffs. And that was all with Georgia being #1. So 7 ESPN pundits think a two loss Bama gets in. Total bull shit.
