DePaul has some really great programs. For example, they have by far the best accounting program in the Chicago area . Except for Illinois and ND, I’d stack up their accounting program with anyone in the Midwest.

I run an accounting firm and DePaul grads have been outstanding. Right up there with ND and U of I.

Northwestern accounting surely must be competitive with them if not above them

Can’t tell if this should be in italics or not.

Just joking man. I graduated from Indiana Tech and my old boss just asked me last week what it’s like to drive the big rigs. Some jokes don’t die.

Northwestern does not have an undergraduate in accounting, and very mediocre accounting mba classes. They are very focused in marketing, among the best in the country in marketing.

U of Chicago, the same, except Chicago is all about data analytics.

I mean, he's still tweeting today and talking about being ready to get on campus so must not have been too serious. Or maybe it was someone he knows.

I don't want to overstate this, but, apparently, Logan Diggs is the best RB to ever take the field.

Is this what you’re taking about?

For sure but in competitive games, the 3rd RB or "closer RB" doesn't really get much action. C'Bo had 3 total carries in our 3 big matchups (Clemson 2x and Bama). GAIII had 51 carries in 2012 or like 6/game. In the games at USC and against Bama, he had a combined 2 carries.

Now, I think Estime and Diggs are both superior talents to C'Bo but history says RB3 doesn't get much run in those situations. And, since we open up '22 in Columbus. Hopefully, it's a competitive game. Which one of these guys gets the 10-15 touches behind Tyree seems like a big deal.

I’m getting the feeling that Diggs is the next Kyren. Not a bad problem for sure. I guess time will tell but he is definitely getting himself involved and noticed early.

So, the last minute save of getting Diggs on (after) NSD is going to go down in ND lore for one of the biggest lock downs ever?

I hope he earns the 3rd back snaps, it seems like he's too dangerous to leave on the sideline, even if it's just for 4-10 snaps/game to give the other two a breather and reduce the workload.

In person, he’s not as fast as I thought he would be. But dang is he still impressive. He’ll be really, really good if he can find that long run speed.

He has definitely been in the weight room. We know that Williams & Tyree is ND's 1-2 punch. I am surprised that C'bo has been playing (I thought he would've had some kind of suspension from his accident around the blue & gold game). When fall camp first started I liked Estime ahead of Diggs.

As I sip the Diggs kool-aid I am liking Diggs ahead of Estime at the moment.

I could've sworn about a month ago the podcasts were saying that Diggs had quite some time to make up in the weight room before he could be a player. Glad to hear that he's doing well so far

That very well could be the case but FWIW, he’s already heavier than C’Bo. In fact, at 206, he’s the heaviest RB not named Estime.

He doesn't need long run speed and I think it's the most overrated trait when looking at RBs. Give me a shifty, elusive, contact-balanced back every. day. of. the. week. I love homerun speed and it's a bonus but you get maybe 1-2 opportunities per game to hit a big run. I want those 5-20 yard chunks all game long.

0-20 is so much more important than the top gear.

And back to the discussion: it just seems like we know what C'bo's ceiling is and it's 3rd back reps. We don't know what we have in Diggs but he's already shining and we have to think he's on the trajectory to earning 1A reps eventually.

Agreed
Give me Kyren speed over GAIII speed.

I agree with that comparison.

But, would you take Kyren of Josh Adams? Honestly, not sure which one I would want, probably depends on the construct of the playbook and rest of the offense. But Josh Adams had homerun speed and I loved every minute of it.
