Loy says watch out for Bama for the youngest one.

As I wrote in the last post ASB's classmate, future All American OT Tommy Brown is a Bama legacy. Bama's gonna be around a lot. But after years and years of telling us how smart their kids are, do you really think the St Brown's are gonna let their baby go to Bama? Ain't seein' it.

This whole fairy tale of getting all three brothers just has a typical Notre Dame recruiting feel to it. It goes without saying that that feel isn't a pleasant one.

He seems to have trouble remembering coaches names. He misnamed one coach and had trouble remembering others.

I think ND will be in the race for him and if ESB puts together a nice season that will help.

Haha. Based on everything people have said about him, and the interviews I read, OSB comes off like a young David Shaw. The two could just stand on the sidelines with sarcastic smiles shaking their heads when the other team "gets lucky" and does something good.

We need to somehow turn that competitiveness towards beating Shaw, instead of playing for him. :)

About the two younger St. Brown brothers : The more I see, the nastier I believe them both to be. I want both. I think they probably will be better than their older brother. And they are two (maybe the first two) high school wide receivers I have seen that block like stud offensive linemen. Osiris is the best, (at blocking.l)

Watch Michael Young block. It's as if his next meal is depending upon it.

IN HIS WORDS: “I actually might commit within the next week or two. And then I'd only be taking my official to the school I'm committed to.” - Rivals

Will obviously be Stanford or Notre Dame if he commits before school starts.

I would think it would be to ND because I don't think he's been accepted to Stanford yet and our class is filling up quick. Could get left out.

I hope you're right about the Stanford info!....

As far as being left out of the ND class, I deff hear what you're saying, but i just CANT SEE IT. I dont think Kelly would tell the Brother of a current ND player (ESB) and possibly Future STUD (ASB), NO, we're too full.

Just my opinion

I agree. OSB has a spot, no matter what. If the news about Stanford is accurate (not yet accepted) and he is going to commit in the next couple of weeks, I think he is wearing a gold helmet for the next four years.

Well hardly any kids are accepted this early, from what I understand. ISD thought that Osiris hadn't been accepted yet a few weeks ago, so unless the reason he would be committing now is because he did get the go ahead from Stanford admissions, it looks like ND would be the choice.

I like this news and feel confident he's coming to ND. Sure sounded all along that he was VERY interested in Stanford though.....

If the decision is coming soon, I'm assuming it ND as well. Probably realizes spots are filling up. What a WR haul this class could have. Kelly just stock piles WR's.

If the assumption is Black as a silent, wouldnt OSB be the last wr?

If being the operative word. I don't believe he shuts the process down this soon, no info.

Loy with the Crystal Ball to Stanford

Yikes....this tells me Loy might have heard the OSB got into Stanford.....I've read OSB was fairly aloof about ND at II and has spoken highly about Stanford. I really hope his lil bro doesn't follow him there. GO IRISH! BEAT STANFORD!

And if we don't get OSB and Pouncey ends up a DB that leaves us with only one slot WR in Young in this class while Tarik is all over the place and far from a ND lock.....this isn't great news.....uggghhhh.

It's August.

Definitely too early to freak out about WR recruiting. I'm hoping TAMU has their annual implosion, Sumlin gets canned mid-season and Hezekiah Jones takes a second look. Would also love to see us move hell and earth to make a run at Jeremiah Holloman.
