Yeah 36' may get you to D2 but I'd guess you need to be at 44'+ for Notre Dame. My sisters were 43' and 41' and went to Toledo and BGSU, to put it in perspective.

This wouldn't be a surprise at all, not even a little, if Loy didn't jump the gun with his sources saying he's coming back to ND and putting in his CB. I'm starting to think that Caleb Kelly, McCulloch, Beal, etc. all have the same sources. Loy's GF, lol.
Hopefully Beal still does but it's pretty obvious 247 is putting out excitement pieces that may or may not contain quality info and hidin behind "sources" as their out.

Yeah, the story was always we're potentially back in the picture with Beal, but still in his second group. There were even reports that ND was a little hesitant.
So then Loy CB'sd him, probably figuring that he wouldn't be reaching out to the school he was previously committed to if he wasn't serious, and wants to hit the jackpot with CB points.
So everyone on IE starts assuming ND is in the driver's seat, even that was not the story and we talk smack about Loy all the time.
Now that original info is repeated (that we are in his second group), people are acting like something has changed. It hasn't.

False! He can be VERY objective. Take for instance him getting Josh Myers listed as the #1 OT in the country so he could go on Bucknuts every week and say... "247 loves you OSU fans, we made your boy #1. That was clearly his objective.

If he doesn't sign with ND, Loy blew it by reporting his II visit. There's no other reason it could be.

Per Loy this morning, Loy still thinks he visits for II but said it's recruiting so nothing would surprise him.
