They revealed that a year ago, so I'm going to type it in plain black font.I have no designs on watching Agents of Shield, so does someone want to use the newly-designated White Spoiler Font and tell me how Coulson is "alive" in the show?

He was legitimately dead for several days. Then Nick Fury did some Dr. Frankenstein shit and brought him back. This was called the T.A.H.I.T.I. project, and involved blood from a Kree corpse. (Kree are the blue alien species of Ronan from Guardians of the Galaxy and the genetic ancestors of the Inhumans.) The purpose of the T.A.H.I.T.I. project was to be able to revive dead Avengers, but Coulson was the guinea pig.
Problem: the Spoiler text kind of shows against the grey quote box in new posts.

Interesting... why haven't they thrown him back into the movie universe? I loved his character.
He doesn't have much narrative value now that S.H.I.E.L.D. has been destroyed and driven underground. Plus, we had twelve super people in the Civil War film, with Thor and Hulk off doing some Asgard shit. We don't need law enforcement bureaucrats to fill screen time anymore.Interesting... why haven't they thrown him back into the movie universe? I loved his character.

Uhh... Duh... They live in the X-Mansion. Where in the hell are they supposed to take off from?
The odd part to me is that they changed the plane. Deadpool's looks exactly like an SR-71 but with VTOL
Hard to tell. This one seems to be getting more buzz than you normally see on the blogs but that might just be click-bait.Sounds like standard reshoots to answer things the studio was unhappy about... sounds pretty normal for most films, no?

Star Wars in general will get more buzz than anything else so this is likely just a normal thing that is actually getting press because it's Star Wars.
I do remember a movie getting a lot of reshoots recently (Suicide Squad?) and that concerned people but I know that movies get reshoots all the time.
That would be a bad thing, IMO. I want Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, not Star Wars Episode III 1/2: Rogue One.As the article about the Rogue One reshoots says, maybe it's really a good thing because it might mean more Darth Vader.

Not following. What's the difference?
The "Episodes" are one overarching narrative based on Anakin and Luke Skywalker. The "Stories" (previously known as the Anthology films) should be more stand-alone.Not following. What's the difference?
Read Lords of the Sith.I want to see a brutal Darth Vader doing Sith things for the Empire as the Rebels try to steal the plans for the Death Star. More Darth Vader =/= Less Rogue One.

So it sounds like the reshoots are being filmed to try and "bring more levity" and tone everything down. That actually disappoints me. I was hoping for a much more serious film honestly.
Looks like Brie Larson might be Captain Marvel

Marvel is usually spot on with their castings so I guess I should give them the benefit of the doubt on this one, but I just don't see it. She's a fantastic actress but she just doesn't seem like the right fit for that role.
I don't know how I missed this, but Namor is back at Marvel.
