I'm contemplating sending them my film at this point.
I hear this guy can dunk. Explosive athlete.

Based on talent/potential alone, who would you guys rather have, Kaindoh or Beal?

Kaindoh. I'll take 6'6", 250 over 6'3" 230.

Beal, I think Beal has plenty of size and athleticism and he is currently a better football player, IMO. Because of his size, Kaindoh probably has more upside but, again, I think Beal has plenty of upside and better current skill.
Plenty of size to be a DE, but not enough to ever take snaps inside if we ever had to due to injuries or match-ups. I like a guy you can move inside/outside with easy depending on who you're playing and what package you're in.
Plus, Beal is basically the frame of Daelin Hayes who came in at 6'3", ~240.
Not saying you're wrong, but those are why I'd take Kaindoh.

I would take Beal over Kaindoh. Beal is a guy who can come in and start from Day 1 you could always slide Hayes to LB or play them both on the outside. Kaindoh is a little more of a project, raw talent.
Mike Frank hinted about this on Power Hour 2 weeks ago. He said that Beal's grandma runs the show, and that she was still all about ND. That stuck with me and I slightly had the door open in my mind for Beal to reconsider ND. But I was thinking more like in the fall for a sudden OV, not this fast.
A commitment after II would be incredible, but would also be a giant headache for Beal, being in the South and having to listen to everyone beg him to go to an SEC school like Georgia. It would also once again let everyone know who they had to beat.
If after II, he states ND is back in it for him, it would be worse for us fans, but better for him, and in the long run, it might even be better for ND (and us). An early commitment and an eventual decommitment would suck royally. Of course, a commitment would ease our minds about DE recruiting and could help catapult the class to greater things, so of course as long as he sticks that would be ideal.
Shit, I don’t even know why I wrote this; I’m pretty much just thinking outloud and not offering anything new at this point, sooooo….#boredduringlunch

Beal.
For as long as Kaindoh is, he does not use his hands well, which would improve his game dramatically. Beal, on the other hand, is great at engaging and disengaging at will. Not to mention, Beal could add significant weight and strength to his frame which would only improve his already impressive game.
Also, most of Kaindoh's highlights have him playing from a 9-tech (and I don't think he goes farther in than a 7) so talk of him sliding inside is purely based on his size and not on anything he's been asked to do before or really shown an ability to do. Again, if he isn't good with his hands, he'll still get bossed around inside even if he is 6'6" 270.
While I agree, I think it will be quite a bit less now that he'll be at IMG, than it would be if he stayed at Norcross.

Had forgotten about this. Good point. Glad we've made some connections there.

Don't quote me but I don't think he's playing at IMG this year anymore.
