Can you imagine if Braxton Miller had been healthy this year, and Elliot would have emerged like he has? tOSU would putting up Bo Jackson on Tecmo Bowl rushing numbers.

Will be at the 3 day junior camp this summer. Dual sport athelte that won the state 110 hurdles as a sophomore. Just received his first four offers last week.

Per Wiltfong we will be tough to beat if we ultimately offer.

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse.

I don't remember who said it last night, but somebody mentioned that the fact urban was playing his 3rd string qb may have been a major blessing in disguise. It forced him to focus on and establish the run. Something that may have not happened in the way it did if Braxton or JT were at the helm.

Not sure I entirely agree with it, but interesting perspective.

Either way, fcking shit did it hurt to watch this kid dominate the playoffs this year.

Its exactly what happened to ND against LSU.

Urban is also lucky that QB was so good. There are a lot of talented QBs who would not pop off of the bench in that situation and perform. I know Urban deserves some credit, but the kid has a lot of natural talent. Its amazing he was willing to ride the bench.

Yep, unable to figure out how to pick up the blitz in Kelly's pass happy offense.

In all honesty, did you notice how he got abused at least twice last night protecting 12 gague?

Did you notice how Urban overcame that by simply feeding him the ball, as should be done when you have a stud runner?

When you have a stud like that, feed him the ball as much as you can. He destroyed 3 pretty darn good defenses the last 3 games.

NOT TAKING AWAY FROM ELLIOT, but how could you not keep feeding him the ball when he had the holes his line made

Weren't they calling for him to be replaced after the Va Tech game because he whiffed on a bunch of blocks he missed from Va Tech blitzing so much?

Agreed. But did you see how many yards he was getting after contact also? He was getting 2-3 more yards almost every carry once you thought he was going to go down. Just a horse out there. But that line has come together greatly following the Va Tech game.

all i'm saying is for the stage that was as dominant a performance at the college level that i've seen

That's why I am curious as to your age. I can think of a number of better performances off the top of my head, but I remember back to the late seventies.

How many of those better rushing performances were whilst setting a record for most rushing yards in a NC game? Not to mention, what, 4 TDs? Oh. Right, that was EE two nights ago...
