i totally understand where he's coming from, but that statement is telling me that he's ready to play, but he's just not a great communicator

if that's the case baptism by fire and put your studs on the field and let them make plays...might be the best way for the kid to learn who knows

I think it would be poetic justice to see him blowing up the USC receivers as a coming out party. I hope he can figure some things out quick either way because we could sure some some stability on the backside of that defense.

With Jaylon really making an impact athletically on our defense, I cannot wait for Max to get the mental side down. His athleticism should take the D to a whole new level.

Those two are going to be so much fun to watch the next few years.

This tweet takes the word "frustrated" out of context, IMO. If you read the actual convo/quote via Matt Fortuna, Redfield seems to be saying that he is frustrated by the small mistakes he is making that are keeping him from playing, not the actual lack of playing time.

This. I think Max will get his chance soon. Seems like I've seen a few of these "little mistakes" from a few of our starting safeties. It wont be long Max!
