What video game are you playing?

I've never finished a Bethesda game, I've put plenty of hours into multiple titles, and these fn guys are talking bout second and third play throughs.....

I guess the side missions just hook me too much...

Who says I don't do side missions? I leave no stone unturned, no quest unfinished.

I used to write guides for GameFaqs for Bethesda's games, but some punk was stealing material for his own guide and taking credit, so I quit.

If I had to put the Zelda games I've played in any kind of order, and that's pretty hard to do, I'd go something like this:
Ocarina of Time >= Legend of Zelda NES > Link to the Past > Majora's Mask >= Twilight Princess > Zelda II NES > Link's Awakening > Windwaker....fuck that game.

Have about a good 24 hours of game time into this on Xbox 0ne. I havent played either games but many are saying its like a Diablo III meets Destiny meets GTA..... Its a 3rd person loot shooter in an open world that has co op and players vs players. Game is off the hook the first update to the game is coming out the 12th and they are already adding things that are gonna make the game more competitive. I feel bad for my employer.

Honestly I dislike any Zelda game where I spend 100% of the game as "Kid Link." Even though Majora's Mask was the same way, it was a little different so there was some saving grace. Windwaker though...Kid Link all game, didn't care for the cartoony graphics they went with, and you spend 80% of the game sailing. It was Zelda meets Water World...and Water World is nothing you want to emulate.

I'll be picking it up Friday... The reviews all said its still a great game, slightly improved but only enough for hardcore MLB fans

Played a little bit of 2 some time ago, played all the way through the first one and the prequel. I mostly played the Borderlands games for the co-op action so my buddies and I have something to do together, but honestly I don't care for the games. I don't know what it is about that franchise, but I've never been able to really enjoy them. They've got some good humor, I like the different character trees you can play around with, and the combat isn't completely awful, but that's about all the positives I can list. The quests are a bit "MMO" like, which means "Go to X spot and collect Y number of Z" which is often boring and repetitive. Never been a fan of the cartoon style visuals, reminds me of fucking Windwaker. Also, there's just way too many shitty weapons, and it gets annoying to constantly be sorting through the loot. By the time you're past level 10 or so there's no point in "White" weapons dropping other than for vendor fodder. 95% of the guns you pick up are not going to be upgrades for whatever you're currently carrying, and probably half those weapons contain useless mods or they're weapons that are useless to your particular character.

Part of the problem probably revolves in the way my buddies play the game. They'll spend hours duping guns by dropping them in town, leaving game without saving, and then taking the dupes and recycling them for possibly better guns. That gets old really fast.

I can't stress enough how great a game The Show is this year... I've always said Tecmo bowl and Super Boel were the best sports games ever... We have a new champion. Put the cameras on Offset Zoom... Perfect. They basically took the best sports game on the market and fine tuned everything, running, hitting, throwing, pitching, fielding and overhauled the GM stuff... Amazing game, I'm having a ton of fun with it.

How are the rosters? Easy to update and work with up-to-date teams that reflect real life? Are the farm system rosters pretty accurate?

I've been thinking about getting it for PS3, but didn't get it last year. And the year before that, I had trouble getting the proper/updated rosters to stick for franchise mode, and was not impressed with the farm system rosters. I don't even think they had three or four of the Reds' biggest AAA prospects in the game back then.

Yes, they update the rosters weekly, farm systems are on point with one point: they can't put the actual player in the game until they make a major league roster so while they're accurate in ratings they have default names and faces...

Been playing World of Tanks on PS4 lately. I've got a Tier 7 Russian IS tank, and a handful of other tanks up to Tier 5 in the Brittish and German lines.

I also fired up Dragon Quest VIII again, starting over from scratch. Never did beat that game, and it was pretty good. It's about a decade old, but plays like an old school JRPG.

Diablo 3 is okay, but something is missing...I wasn't nearly as hooked as I was on Diablo 2. I almost wish they would have kept the Marketplace in, made it really nice for getting cheap good for gold when you create a new character. They did boost the drop rate on gear, and often times it's tailored for the character you're playing, but I preferred putting in Search parameters and finding the stuff I wanted. It's better on PC too (Most games are), hate playing Diablo on console, but some of my friends don't have gaming PC's because they suck.

Everybody I ever talked to about the series says that "Revelations" is one of the worst in the series. Anybody here play it and feel differently?
