If you're talking about Midwestern pale ales, nothing holds a candle to Zombie Dust, IMO. At least not of local beers I've tried recently. It's not technically an IPA, but in the same general family... just truly fantastic beer. Was shockingly impressed that it lives up to the hype. Drank as much as I could get my hands on over Thanksgiving when I was in Chicago... apparently the lengths my host went through to procure it were insane.

A local IPA that I'm currently a big fan of is the Faceplant IPA by Lost Rhino... but in general I've kinda gotten off the IPA kick recently in favor of more Belgian style beers.
