I fully expect to see: "Demetris Robertson (DeVry University: Signed LOI)"
Don't count on it. He wants nothing to do with that safety from Lincoln Technical Institute.

Pryor, Neal and others have done it in the past. Doesn't seem to have caught on like you are expecting.
I think the new thing will be what Gary did. Actually going to ESPN headquarters and making the announcement.

What’s the new timeline for UGA with Demetris Robertson? from a Georgia site

“We want to take our time to make sure we make a good informed decision,” Carlos Robertson said. “It could extend out another couple of weeks. We want to make sure we nail the academic side of things. We only get this one shot. I want to make sure this is right because I would be serving my brother a great injustice if I made him feel like we had to rush it.”
Waiting on arrival of SAT scores (supposed to come in around the 11th), then maybe an OV to Stanford the weekend after that.
So this should be over no later than the end of the month...I know, you're all gonna die if that happens.
Hope this doesn't take as long as Herschel Walker's signing. He signed with Georgia on April 6th. And he wasn't waiting on test results.
So no clarification that he did/didn't visit Georgia this weekend? Assume he didn't if nothing's been reported, but you never know, some visits can be kept under wraps like Hayes' to ND. Hopefully he did stay home, though.
Just to clarify, his mom does not want him to go to either Stanford or Notre Dame? If so, that's not good parenting smh.

Uh oh, while I agree with you, prepare yourself for the criticism.
If Drob wants to go to either Stanford or Notre Dame and the mom is totally against it because of her own selfish reasons that she wants him to be close to home is completely bad parenting - given that is the reason why.
You're talking Stanford and Notre Dame, c'mon man.
Totally agree, but others will tell you otherwise. I got attacked for suggesting what you're suggesting.

dwshade, you've been adamant on here that Stanford is not an option here for Robertson...do you still feel this way? any new info from your end?
Still feel that way.

So we're in agreement haha.
You suggested that any parent that sends a kid somewhere other than ND is a bad parent, regardless of circumstance. If a kid wanted to go somewhere other than ND and the parent didn't flat out force them to ND, you accused them of bad parenting. Which is completely ridiculous. Don't play victim.
Bery is saying that it is bad parenting because his mom was out of his life and now wants him to stay home for selfish reasons. That is a legitimate reason for accusing her of questionable parenting, especially considering it sounds like he may want to go to ND or Stanford.
