Robertson will most likely wait until after NSD to sign. His brother mentioned him retaking the SAT's this past weekend, and although he didn't explicitly say it, it was hinted that it was due to Stanford. He did say they have communicated with Stanford, but he still needs to get accepted. He will visit GT this weekend, host Kirby Smart on Tuesday, and Denbrock and Sanford on Thursday.

If this kid has never even visited Stanford, it is incredible he is jonesing for it so hard. Regardless of reputation how does he know he will like the atmosphere and feel comfortable there?

I don't actually believe it. I think its really all just a bunch of hooha. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even take the SAT over the weekend, but rather used it as an excuse to not visit Bama. Then he'll use the excuse of of going past NSD to cancel any other visit. Then announce on NSD for the Irish.

His brother has said stuff in the past that wasn't entirely accurate. I think that this is another one of those cases. Demetris has never set foot on their campus and wasn't even invited to their big recruiting even recently. There just isn't anything there, imo.

Matt Freeman had an update over the weekend that Robertson did indeed take the SAT, and indeed it was a "just in case" for Stanford. Sounds bad, but then again, Freeman did later post that he was still confident that the Irish would land Robertson.

Of course, it's recruiting, and it's late in the game, so many updates become obsolete a mere 24 hours later (shit, in some cases, a mere 10 minutes later).

Breaking: Stephens re-opens his recruitment

Stephens carries a 3.4 core GPA and holds a 23 ACT score.

So if Stephens was committed to Stanford with these scores, how far off is DRob from it? I would have thought getting in to Stanford would require more than that.
