Nail... meet coffin...

The last thing a mother wants is to get a message from someone with the handle "stash riders" regarding a bunch of whores wanting her son.

I've never seen anything like this. That can be our recruiting pitch to parents - pretty girls are few and far between, come to ND! lol.

It's funny... but honestly it's a fair pitch.

Where would you imagine your son having a better chance to meet a smart, wholesome girl with good intentions? Notre Dame or Oklahoma?

"We don't have many pretty girls at ND, so your son will be able to concentrate on his studies."

That made me laugh. Just make sure we never accidentally use that pitch to the recruit himself because wholesome sounds awful in regards to girls.

You assume that every guy is out looking for whores. Maybe... and this is a novel idea... a recruit could appreciate the fact that he could find a lady that isn't just out to be a football players f8ckbuddy. Maybe they could appreciate not being on a campus where whores are constantly trying tie themselves to your success?

The cautionary tale of the money grabbing whores.... I'm pretty sure that is Day 1 of the NFL The Rookie Symposium. Ha...

Agreed Wooly. These are all hyper competitive and pretty smart kids. I think many would want to find someone who is ambitious and can challenge them in a relationship, not just some trophy wife.

I doubt we neg recruited all that much. Pointing out that Stoops doesn't give two shits about graduating his players, especially his African American players isn't neg recruiting. It's extremely important information that all athletes should take into consideration.

But these are 18 & 19 year old boys. They do a lot of thinking with their tool.

Yup. And let's be honest.. there are good looking chicks at every school that will bang FB players... even at ND. If you're that kind of guy, you might not get a 10 every night, but you can find a lot of solid 7s and 8s lol... and it's not like brainy girls don't like sex. A lot of these kids, at least the ones that want to play school, aren't going to go somewhere because the chicks are hot. There are some that I'm sure are impressed and don't give a shit about education, but we don't want those anyway...

There's a difference Between neg recruiting and stating a fact.

St. Mary's!

"Sex Kills, Go to Notre Dame and live forever" was a popular t-shirt when I was there. Sex Kills in huge red letters and the rest in smaller font.

Grad rates for OU football players is 64% this year and 51% the year before.

OU's African-American GSR has been one of the worst in the FBS since I started keeping track. Over the last three years, it was 43%, 52% and 59%. So if you're an African-American parent who wants his or her son to get a good education, Stoops' program should be at the bottom of your list. He simply doesn't give a f*ck about graduating his players.

I am guessing this is what the OU board people were referring to as ND neg recruiting them

My favorite part about the Land of Thieves forum is how they say that it is impossible for us to brag about academics because of the "academic scandal" we had two years ago

You mean like the academic scandal where we actually held our players accountable for cheating?

But they're improving every year. At this rate they should be above 90% in about five years.

Objective statistics are mean!

Exactly. When's the last time OU suspended its starting QB for academic misconduct? Beating the sh!t out of a woman isn't even enough to get you benched in Norman.

But they're improving every year. At this rate they should be above 90% in about five years.

The sad thing is that if OU had even average GSR figures, they'd be 2nd in the Big 12 for degree value (trailing only Texas Tech). But as it stands today, they're 8th, ahead of only Kansas State and Oklahoma State. Not a bad school by any means, but they don't even pretend to care about educating their athletes.

Is it that magical time in a recruiting cycle? Are we in a fight with another board?

Over/Under on time it takes for some mouthbreather on their site to bring up the Declan Sullivan tragedy, thereby taking the tragic accidental death of a college-aged kid and twisting it into a weapon to serve their own purposes, while refusing to acknowledge the irony that they are now attempting to emotionally profit off someone's untimely death in much the same way they are nonsensically trying to portray Brian Kelly doing?

Don't forget Lizzie Seeberg, Lennay Kekua, and Kelly's purple face. Also the Inquisition. Might just be faster to denounce us as filthy papists and leave it at that.

I was browsing their site after someone here brought it up.

The Sullivan thing was mentioned yesterday.

Idk if you know the story, but the guy in that gif ended up losing because the other guy had the better suits. It was all time bad luck.

Wiltfong was interviewed by Bill King today. Wiltfong was asked about Caleb Kelly to ND.

Wiltfong said he thinks ND has a great shot and may have taken the lead. He said he's close to flipping his Crystal Ball but just wants to get a couple more pieces of information down the stretch yet.

Starts at the 5:05 mark
