Said he loves Harry. Wonder being from Tennessee if they happen to have a preexisting relationship when Harry was at UT

Wooly's early "Pick to Click".

I mean... he's wearing a bowtie for crying out loud. If that isn't an ND man, I don't know what is...

I saw his pic and really liked it. Thought it was the smile, but could be the tie.

Perhaps they missed the bow tie.

In their defense, it's extremely early. Lots of changes will be made by all services.

The kid is absolutely a top 5 tackle in the class IMO. Great early offer.

Just watched his Junior Highlights. He is blowing people up on every play. Found myself laughing out loud on a few of his plays. Reminded me of Tillery in HS on defense...very disruptive. Want!

From the Rivals interview this seems like HH's next get. Really likes all things Notre Dame. Knows Parker from an Ole Miss visit and Tommy from the Opening, where they roomed together. He keeps in touch with them. They talk about how great Notre Dame is and it sounds like he's really feeling it. Is already talking to OSU about a Spring visit and will probably do ND then too. Also, has a sister in Indianapolis.

He followed big fake Harry back immediately and liked a bunch of his tweets so I'd say it's a wrap.

I distinctly remember someone wearing a bow tie as they popped for OSU on national TV. He must have been confused.

I mean come on now. Every single sign points to ND.

It sounds like he has early interest in OSU, in which case Tommy might work in our favor even more. Lives in Ohio, was recruited heavily by both schools, and chose ND over OSU.

Get the address. I'll swing by and give the sales pitch along with a dozen roses and a box of Godiva chocolates.

As long as HH's is at ND I will take our chances with any elite O lineman

Said more of the same positive things about ND and Heistand to 247 and he has a lot of the big boys after him so this should be fun to follow. Most interesting part of the article is that he's planning to EE.

There are a few recruits each year that make me giddy. Watching Trey's nasty mentality is a real treat!

I am a DL nut and feel this kid would be great at the 3! WOW

I know he will probably stay at OL and we will have 5 really good ones with Trey being one of them if he becomes Irish, but damn we need this type on DL imho...

One of the most impressive lineman tapes I have watched. I can't imagine what he is going to do his SR year. How in the hell is he not near the top in the ratings?

There are only 6 guys above him him on 247's Comp that are guaranteed tackles at the next level. Wyatt Davis will be a guard, hopefully an Irish one. Jedrick Wills is a guard at ND if QN and ME were. Maybe he's a LT if he comes to SB after Kraemer/Eichenberg are gone... IF he beats out Lugg . The Slayton kid out of American Heritage would be a guard if he wasn't 6-6. He'll get put at RT for someone to keep him out of the passing lanes for a run first team like Auburn.

That leaves you with 5 above him. I'd take Smith over Austin Jackson because Jackson is not putting on weight that he needs at this time. I hear that they are stretching the 260 number. He doesn't look that for sure.

That leaves Myers, Ashley, Wilson and Sarrell... and I'm not saying they are better. I really haven't watched much on them besides Wilson and Smith has much better footwork. He's just a bigger, nastier Austin Jackson.

I wish they could get Smith and Wills and then Wills would accept a future at guard but word is he wants to play tackle and if Smith and Lugg are commit before him, I'll bet the moon he goes elsewhere even if he had ND at the top.

“He’s a great guy,” Smith said of Hiestand. “I can tell what type of kids he recruits just from hanging out with Notre Dame commits like Tommy Kraemer — it’s just good guys.”

he'll be on campus April 2 for a spring practice

Not saying it can't or won't happen but this kid is being recruited heavily by some big dogs in the recruiting world. Recently visited Bama, Tenn, and Ole Miss. Also has a lot of interest in OSU.

Yeah, i don't see him as being an early committer to ND. I wouldn't if I were him unless i had a guarantee that the staff was done with OT's and if the staff did that and left Sarell on the board when he's showing big interest, I'd lose my $h!t. He's gonna take his 5 free trips to see the bluebloods.
