Andrew Ivins at BGI, who has spent a lot of time around Plam Beach Gardens and South Florida recruiting, doesn't even think Miami is under real consideration currently. ND/WVU battle, again I have a hard time seeing Richt be the guy that completely turns this tide around for them.

Wow didn't see WVU still hanging around this one. I thought he was truly waiting to see who replaced Golden.

247 hearing that is more of a matter of "when" than "if" he's committing to ND. Like I stated above, it sounds like he wants to have some sort of announcement and that takes some planning. Good news, is 247 bumped him up to a 4 star (90 rating) and 13th best S in the country and 308 nationally. I still think he's better than that but its a start.

I haven't seen his film, but with all of the hype on him, I feel like you guys are overrating his underrating, if that makes any sense. I expect this guy to be Shaq Thompson based on what I've read, lol.

When I watch his film, I think he's one of the best S's in the country. Rate that how you will, 4 star, 5 star, etc. I'm not just blowing smoke here, as I've been saying that for awhile now. I also believe that he could be real close to starting next season if he's able to EE.

when i saw film on him at our Irish Invasion. His footwork was farrrr better than any other DB i saw, and we had some other really quality guys there.

Agreed, he has the footwork and hips of a DB but the physicality of a S. His versatility is why I like him so much. I think he could play any position in the secondary, some better than others but all nonetheless.

Interesting note, BGI thinks that if any school is going to push to crack his top two, at this time, its Texas. There has been talk of him visiting but nothing is set. They believe an announcement will be scheduled soon enough and ND will be the choice.

This is exactly what we need in the secondary. Haven't watched any film on him but you all are getting me excited to have a safety that will be good in coverage.

Depending on how other S's develop will depend on where Devin plays. I think he could do well at both FS and SS but ideally SS. With Jalen Elliot looking like a really quality FS prospect, those two could be nice upgrades, though the ratings agency won't have seen it that way.

I haven't seen any change on that subject, so my assumption is they still like him at WR.

Not completely disagreeing but it's seems wasteful to put Robertson on D if we sign 5-6 DBs this cycle. He can have a much bigger impact on offense if he's starter material, just look at what Will gave us this year. Without his production, we would've set a single season record for number of FGs attempted.

I don't think it's that they have to have it in already, rather I think it's that they can have already submitted it.

I could be wrong though.
