Love Riddick's game. I like how he broke that tackle and then stared down the Eagles players. Kid plays tough and talks the talk.

Theo is the freaking man!! Him and Eifert I think are the most productive offensive players in the NFL as this post. Am I forgetting someone?

It's amazing that out of the two backs Cierre has more talent than Theo. But Theo's drive got him drafted and has let him have a solid career in the NFL. While Cierre just let his career literally go up in smoke.

Riddick is definitely a harder worker and better teammate, etc. Wood, no doubt has more talent as a running back, but I wouldn't say that Wood is overall more talented. Riddick has great hands and elusiveness, which are huge for him as a slot receiver. This is especially important because of the NFL's premium on the passing game. Riddick did great things for us his senior year at RB, but it was probably a disservice to his draft stock -- he should be lining up exclusively in the slot.

But Riddick plays the majority of his snaps from the backfield and not the slot.

Golden Tate. Mike Floyd. Zack Martin (if you count non-skill players). Kyle Rudolph.

Not just good as a slot receiver, but also a 3rd down back. He's has the full skill set needed for a 3rd down back and as a slot receiver, which is why I think he'll have a great NFL career. A typical linebacker trying to tackle him one on one in space is a mismatch.

Harrison Smith and Robert Blanton were the top duo at safety last year.

Like that article illustrated he's one of the best receiving RB's in the league right now. There is value all over the draft, just have to find it. Theo is just more proof of that.

They let Bell go elsewhere because they valued him. He should get more playing time this year.

Excellent news. And to think Wood was the more talented RB, but look what happens when you have good work ethic.

Very happy for Theo. I hope he's used more prominently this season and I hope he stays healthy.

Great ambassador for the university and he was always so likable. (not lick-able).

Used more prominently? I guess in the running game. But, didn't he have like 80 catches last year.

Theo was killer for that offense. With the receivers drawing so much attention, Riddick could just catch out of the backfield. It was a great setup. It will be interesting to see how well they do without Megatron this year.

I don't know how much of this is Jim Bob Cooter's offense or the Colt's defense, but the backs of the Lions are having themselves a nice day. Tate hasn't gotten much going however
