That is pretty cool there.

No reflection... of you. I don't believe......
At this point my order of preference is:
1.Clemson (we owe them one)
2.Any Big 12 team (they are soft and I believe can be physically dominated)
3.OSU
4.Alabama
I didn't include any other teams that are unlikely to make the playoffs at the moment though there are a few teams I'd put ahead of Alabama.
USC isnt doing us any favors tonight with regard to SOS. Colorado...really?
USC won and is 7-3.
We squeezed by UVA.
It happens.

Conspiracy theory --- just to give you guys something to get in a frenzy about:
1). In terms of {unconscious?} biases, the Committee is slanted more towards Stanford-friendly than for anyone else [Rice, Luck, Willingham.]
2). If they see Stanford as a long shot, then ND is their main chance to sail in at the last moment.
3). Therefore get Notre Dame "in" and Stanford "close as possible", and wait for the Big Game.
4). The conspiracy is employable because one of the most influential power personalities on the reduced-size committee is Barry Alvarez, a Lou Holtz championship coach, and a friend of ND, maybe our only true one even given Rice's tenure here [as she's now all Stanford.] {Alvarez will by the way value winning games vs serious programs [i.e. Strength of Schedule ND-style --- a serious team each week], and we doubtless benefit from the respect others show him.}
....... of course no such thing could be consciously possible with human beings.
....... maybe.
Man you know it's late in the playoff hunt when Killz gets on to someone for saying USC sucks
It's true.
It sucks to need every chance to make the play off.
We need the teams we played to be strong.
And it's hard to root for USC.
They may win some recruiting battles they would have otherwise lost had they tanked.
But we need a natty more.
Call it conspiracy or not, I think Alvarez has us ranked on par with 'Bama. Which we should be...he would be accurate. To your point, yes, he more than likely is helping our case.
I think a lot of the judges realizes how good this team is.

The intersection of poetry and rocket science!
@McMurphyESPN: After today, Ohio State & North Carolina will be only teams in @CFBPlayoff's Top 25 that haven’t played a current Top 25 team so far
If the Big Ten doesn't finish with an undefeated team, I could totally see them being left out of the playoffs. Very weak conference.

6 teams in the Committee's Top-25.
Well not that it matters but the committee and I clearly see things differently. Like posted earlier Ohio State has yet to play a top 25 team. The best out of conference win is MSU over Oregon and Oregon isn't that impressive this year. Just my opinion.
I think they're overrating it as well....and OSU has certainly avoided playing anyone but the bottom-feeders so far. Still, I think the committee would put a 12-1 MSU in the playoffs, or a 12-1 OSU if that loss doesn't come in the conference championship.
Why not? We're ahead of (all of) them now, why would things change all of a sudden?ND's playoff chances would have gotten a huge, huge boost had Iowa St. not blown that. As it stands, we're going to need a lot of help to make it in. I just don't see the committee leaving out an undefeated big 12 team, no matter how undeserving they are.
