I think with his size and long speed he has enough wiggle to be effective. But I agree if he could jump cut like Folston look out.

If he had any wiggle at all, that almost-fumble play could have been 6 lol

This guy is a horse. Big and strong. Fast too

I was not impressed when he verballed to ND.

I don't recall any ND freshman RB being pushed into service so quickly and picking up all aspects of the position so quickly. He's playing like an upperclassman right now.

Darius Walker might be the only one that I can think of but Adams has been very impressive.

Nice to see us scoring as I wake up. I hope Cj is OK but I do wish Adams would have gotten more touches this year.

To me, he honestly looks like a smaller Prosise on some carries. Espcecially when he bounces it outside.

And like many here, I was not thrilled when he committed. Thought his recruitment would end like Mattingly's. Very happy he is here.

Am I the only guy here who loves his HS tape? His competition isn't great but for a tall RB he shows awesome burst and quickness. His pad level is even pretty damn good already and takes contact well. Get him up to 6'2" 230 and he could be a beast. Personally like him more than Dexter Williams but they could be nice compliments to each other.

:)

Hope Adams and Williams get all the work next week. Give CJ a chance to mend with a warm up game before Stanford. Adams was a beast today. Kid runs hard and picks up lots of yards after contact. Williams needs more game reps and he will be a nice change of pace next week to spell Adams.

I do remember some people that didn't one him. He has been awesome this year.

I still wanted him but I wasn't high on him, and I'm proud to say I was very wrong. He looks great out there, hard runner, decisive but patient and manages to pick up major yards after contact.

Really glad we have him.

Love this kid, he does all the right things, playing great for a freshman. I say rest CJ next week, regardless if he's good to go or not, we shouldn't need him for Wake. Let Adams and Williams get the carries.

Two weeks if necessary. He should not be needed until the 28th.

The 147 rushing yards by Adams today stands one shy of the school freshman record of 148 set by Jerome Heavens against Georgia Tech on Nov. 8, 1975 in "the Rudy game."

It was also Adams second 100 yd game of the season.

Hoping we have a couple of easy wins the next couple of weeks to get him some more PT. Hopefully they split the carries a little more evenly if Prosise plays next week.

Excellent game for him. I wish we had used him more running between the tackles during previous games instead of letting Prosise get beat up running into a wall. Adams has awesome instincts as far as finding tiny holes that Prosise has not developed yet.

OFD podcast guys compared his running style to that of Darren McFadden: "All Legs and Shoulder pads" :D

According to Sampson its for the camp. He doesn't believe that we'll recruit Adams at RB, and I agree with that. I think he could be a LB/S type in BVG's new system ala JO or Turner. When Loy went to visit him he came away very impressed with him physical build. Let add that Sampson believes he's closer to 6'3 than 6'1.

Thank God they didn't put him on defense! This kid is good but he is going to be a monster when he gets more than one summer in a college football weight room. The kid could be almost 225 pounds next season

Stepped up against Pitt and showed that he is going to be the real deal.
