Wow. Kid looks legit. If he is not a five star 12 months from now I will be surprised.

What's with his buddy's hand down the drawers in that pic?

This is an insanely good start to 16 recruiting -- Top TE, #6 TE, #3 rush DE, and two top OL. It will be fun to watch this class fill out.

Wouldn't be surprised to add a top 5 WR and an elite QB, I don't think the Hunter recruitment is over.

Osiris is a class of 17 too, correct?

One would think we're in extremely good position there.

I don't want to count chickens before they hatch, especially considering how many early wants for 2016 went elsewhere, but one must consider ND the clear favorite for David Adams and Osiris St. Brown too. Both are among the best at their positions too.

Of course my ND ptsd always makes me wonder how this will fall apart... this epic class is coming together, team looks deeper and better than at any point since Lou Holtz, things are finally looking to get real fairly soon on a national level...

I am actually surprised Adams isn't in the fold already. I think this weekend can go a long way for us getting the W over Pitt. I am watching the fighting Narduzzi's closely.

I cannot believe we got this kid, and so early. This is the kind of player that goes to Clemson, Bama, UGA, or FSU talent wise, but we are getting the talent, the student, and the great person that embodies the ND! So freakin stoked! Line him up with Tillery, Kareem, Cage, and potentially Hayes. I am salivating at the havoc bout to be wreaked! ND coaches are doing work fellas!

Shocked.......SHOCKED I say.......I cannot believe we landed this young man. I know it's early, and something very well could change, however, this kid is a beast!!!

2016 and 2017 classes back to back with stud rushing DE's. That is exactly what we needed at that position. I think finally the staff is building a premier defensive line to go with the offensive line. This is what national champions are made of.

Who is the 2016 stud rush DE?

I'm going to say this is a product of Showtime program...Robert Beal sees himself as the next "Terry Jillery" in the sense of being excited to explore his intellectual curiosities...and just being an awesome human being.

Khalid Kareem?

Not a rush end. Likely to play the Rochell SDE role I believe.

Awesome if true, but doesn't this have more to do with his grandmother living in Indiana (possibly even South Bend) more than anything?

Definitely a nice prospect, but not a "stud" the likes of Beal.

I think he's better than just a nice prospect, but I agree that he isn't a stud like Beal. Beal is the best defensive recruit we've gotten since Jaylon. But I do think Julian is good enough to be on the field a lot as a redshirt freshman. Also, look at Julian's offer list; his recruitment definitely isn't like his brothers.

I'd like to see if this has ever come up in interviews with recruits.

Watching the show - what do they think of it - they like ND more/less/indifferent after watching it.

Just want to see if this is a huge recruiting tool or just a way for us to live vicariously through ND football players - at least me :)

will Julian ever get over the stigma of Romeo's career at ND though?

Imagine if Joe Schmidt had a brother..
