I would not be surprised to see him in the 2 deep right away next year. He only has to beat out Blankenship and Bonner; it will only help his chances to be in the 2 deep since he is an EE. Enrolling early is a huge advantage for linemen on both sides of the ball

If we get Hayes, I dont think we should take Kemp unless we think he can play DT. Keep forgetting we have Okwara and Ogundeji on board. Okwara has a chance to be a damn good edge rusher in his own right. So damn quick.

Only DE I would take if Hayes commits would be Betiku. I'll be really happy if we can close with Hayes and a DT, though I dont know any DTs we really are pursuing hard outside of Rashan Gary

I was under the impression Gary is the only DT we'd consider taking; swing guys notwithstanding.

edit: Totally forgot Jamir Jones. I honestly like Jamir Jones as a DE more then Carlo Kemp. Jones senior year highlights are damn good.

I don't think I'd ever turn down a D-Lineman no matter what his skillset is. Our depth is always bad on the line.

I can't really see Rochell getting pushed inside with Jarron, Tillery, and Cage all there. If its an obvious passing situation then I could see something like Trumbetti-Rochell-Tillery-Kareem

I think Rochell is best suited for as a 3T but he's a pretty damn good SDE who has no equal at ND currently.

Even though I think that his strength and speed play better as a 3T moving him now I would weaken the team. ND is going to have an awesome 1-2 punch at the 1T with Jones and Cage. Tillery takes over for Day and Rochell stays put.
