I'll be you any amount of Vbucks you want that he doesn't play OT for ND or in the NFL.
What's a good Wingspan for OT's 6-10's pretty big.

Oh I'm not saying he will, and I actually hope he doesn't. My point was that you have to be one hell of an OT to hold your spot from a 5* kid with that kind of a frame. I don't see puting Nelson at OG as an easy decision

Maybe this [remembering that typical OLines don't actually PLAY two-deep unless there are injuries]:
Stanley//Nelson//NMart//Elmer//McGlinchey, plus Bars {first Tackle} and Bivin {first interior}, --- possibly Hegarty {second Center if he's on the team --- I don't know what's going to go on with "grad students". My guess is that Matt will be with us, as Kelly likes vets over rooks, and so will be next-man-in at Center --- but I'd like to see the final roster in the Spring.}
The love affair with Montelus reminds me at this early stage of similar eye-test love affairs on IE in the past [ex. Filer, Moore, Shumate, Daniels to a degree, GAIII, Bryant to a degree, et al]. Some of those never really worked out, particularly as to the over-the-top speculations-as-fact of their admirers. Some sort-of worked out. Some have eligibility to get-it-right. Max Redfield and Nyles Morgan are my two favorite prayers-for-players to get-it-right immediately. John Montelus is currently for me in this eye-test-but-little-real-coaching-praise cohort. He SEEMS an ideal inner mauler --- maybe even a DT --- but I'll wait for Spring.

Damn another hit to the depth of the this team. Whose the 1st next man in on the O-line now? Bivin?
Nelson
Yes. He's the starter. He'd be a GREAT next man in. But who fills Bar's spot of best next man in on the o-line.
Montelus or McGovern
At least it's not a knee. Hopefully surgery and rehab go seemlessly and he's ready for spring ball.
Question fellas.
Not sure how much PT he got this year with Nelson starting and close games. If he hasnt played much and this just happened in first 1/2 of the season, can he get a medical redshirt since he already used his normal redshirt?

In team sports, the injury or illness occurs when the student-athlete has not participated in more than three contests or dates of competition (whichever is applicable to that sport) or 30 percent (whichever number is greater) of the institution's scheduled or completed contests or dates of competition in his or her sport.
I'm sure wooly could give Alex some pointers.
