Yes I do. No amount of National Championships would change my opinion of him as a man.

Maybe. Not I though. BK is a good guy.

Well people say it, I mean I would take an all star coaching staff, top 3 classes every year and national titles.

Last call exemplifies the POS he is. Lou would have taken a knee and won with class. I would quit following ND if Urban coached here.

He's not coming. He never was. Time to suck it up or become an OSU fan.

I am not crying about it? I am just saying if you want to be average like we have been for the last 20 years or win like Urban?

Listen I hope Brian Kelly gets it done here and wins big but he talks more than he produces.

visiting Michigan this weekend.

Apparently he was trying to keep the visit under-wraps from getting out there in the media, and Ohio State recruiting web-site leaked it. Kinda a dick move IMO.

Think he still ends up at Ohio State, but that site probably just burned any bridges they had for info from him or other recruits at his school.

By him for trying to take a sneaky visit while still being committed to a rival school or by the website? Seems like both could be considered dick moves. I'm all for kids doing their due diligence in picking the right school...but don't try to be sneaky about it. Inform the coaches/school you're committed to (or decommit) and go from there.

Sadly, that's the reality of recruiting. It's a dirty biz by both recruits and coaches.

Also, I know OSU has at least 3 badass RB commits in this class...maybe them taking 3 rubbed him the wrong way? I seem to remember there being something about that being discussed awhile back.

And why on Earth would he or anyone else tell a recruiting site about it if they were trying to keep it discreet?

Yet Michigan recruiting sites call out verbal commits for doing the same thing.

I actually agree with you, it's kinda a dick move on both sides. If you're taking visits, you're not committed. Pretty simple IMO. So just de-commit. That'd be like telling your wife hey honey, I'm going to go sleep with a bunch of other women and I might leave you for one of them. It's shady af.

As for why he or any other recruit or their people would tell recruiting reporters things, well they do it all the time. Recruits routinely tell recruiting reporters stuff and ask them to keep it quiet until they want it out. Witflong said as much when he posted on the Michigan 247 site and said that he had been sitting on the Walker stuff at Walker's peoples requests.

honestly haven't seen it, but I could be being naive.

Hoke was a pretty bad coach, but I actually did like his no visit policy. If you commit to him he's going to to commit to you, so if you take a visit somewhere else you're not considered a commit. Lost a few recruits that way, but the kids that really want to play for your school will play for you school and live up to their word. Call me old fashioned but I liked that.

Yet its "kinda a dick move" when someone called out Walker for visiting UM when he is committed to OSU. You should appreciate that if you want a recruit to "live up to their word". #doublestandard

That just seems really dumb and puts a lot of trust into a business that's shady as hell to begin with. Recruits (and their families) have to know that getting the big scoop out there first is one of the big ways recruiting sites make their money.

Of course there are other ways to be a good recruiting service... like building good relationships with kids and their families, and coaching staffs and becoming a trustworthy source (like Wiltfong). But I wouldn't tell a soul in the recruiting community if I were taking a visit that I didn't want people to know about.
