You can't put those on Stubhub? Seems like you should be able to double your money.
I had them on StubHub. The ticket office called me and asked me to take them down because they were above face value. I'm not sure why I was particularly singled out when there are obviously loads of other tickets going for five times face, but it is what it is. They told me I could put them back up but I could only list at $750, which would net me $675. I'm not willing to take that kind of hit when, like you said, market price is actually significantly above face.

Plus, it's hard to market the club access and whatnot on a place like StubHub. These tickets need to be explained.

WTF? Can't you be generic in the location so they can't single you out directly? I never put the seat numbers down and contemplate putting multiple rows on there. Does it really matter if it is between Row 25 and 30 or does somebody really care that it is exactly Row 26 (for example).

Sounds like they take those back so it isn't like you are stuck with them such as with normal tickets. I am ticked ND isn't sending these tickets until late this month, I paid for the damn things this summer - what's the damn hold up?

It's the way the Fenway seating chart is listed in StubHub. Each table has it's own section so my "section" is Table 216. As in, my section is exactly this large:

I honestly wasn't trying to get away with anything. I cross-my-heart thought that the face value resale policy was for lottery tickets only. I was mistaken.

They probably don't print them. The Fenway people do.

Another reason to hate New Englanders - slow and lazy at printing MY tickets.

That make so little sense, WTF do they care once the tickets are sold and out of their hands? If you don't like it then charge more for your dumb tickets in the first place!

I hope you can find a way to waste your company's time enough to go to the football game. ;)

I'm not sure if that video is more funny or annoying. I mean, the fact she keeps calling out to him as "Bear" like he's going to answer to it is funny, but the incessant screaming is so...female.

If you watch the survival shows, they all refer to it as "bear" when they yell at it. "Hey Bear!! Go away Bear!"....

The first vid has the same tone as many of the whinny, "the season is over", "worse game of my life" posts of the Clemson Game Thread. Apparently she wasn't the only one PMSing. First rule of kayaking in bear country. "Don't sit in the seat when you're in heat."

The second vid demonstrated Tommy learned some lessons.

Don't lock onto your All-American receiver, he's so far down field you need a telephoto lens to find him and you don't have a telephoto arm.

Field presence. Don't trust the freshman RB to pick up the blitzer as big as a bear when he can slip out into the flat and claim he thought he was the Safety Valve and was wide open.

Size and speed. If you can't outrun a South Bend cab, you won't outrun a veteran bear. Plus that axiom about you don't have to outrun the bear as long as you can outrun the other guys, doesn't work when the other guys read the blitz and vacated the backfield for greener pastures in the valley of death.

Don't take the sack. Go zen and live to fight another day.

They do, but WTF, the bear doesn't know or give a hoot. They could yell "Hey you big MF" or "Hey Tiger". I cracked up when she yells "it's not even food". Was she expecting it to look at her at that point and say, "my bad" and walk off? lol

Reesus is one with all of God's creatures.

And in other bear news since we're off topic:

Chase Dellwo recounts Saturday's grizzly mauling

It wasn't until he was just three feet away that he realized he was approaching a bear that had been sleeping. The windy conditions meant the bear was as surprised as Dellwo.

"I had an arrow nocked, and I put my bow up in front of me and took two or three steps back," he said. "There wasn't any time to draw my bow back."

The bear knocked Dellwo off his feet and bit down on the top and back of his head.

"He let go, but he was still on top of me roaring the loudest roar I have ever heard," Dellwo said.

The bear left and Dellwo managed to sit up.

"He came back and bit my lower right leg and gave it a pretty good shake and threw me a ways," he said.

The bear came after him again.

"I remembered an article that my grandmother gave me a long time ago that said large animals have bad gag reflexes," Dellwo said. "So I shoved my right arm down his throat."

It worked. The bear left.

I think it is more so that the mountain lion that is lounging around, watching you and the bear, doesn't think you are yelling at him and get offended, and therefore pounce your @ss.

I don't go in my own crawl space so there's no money left over for luxury box seats to drink with my pinkie out with big whigs like you.
Call it a business expense and charge it back to verizon.

Close. $750 each, not $75. I have three.

Made the mistake of listing these on Craigslist and some asshole tried to rip me off.

If you are netting $675, then you are NOT selling these tickets at face value. So which is it? You offered them at face value.

At $750 on Stub Hub, they take 10%. So if they take $75 he only gets $675 of his $750. So he's saying he inflated the price to still recoup his face value after the fee was removed.

But if he sells them here, he is not paying StubHub anything. So why is he still going to charge $750 for a $675 ticket that he claims he is selling for face value?

I could be wrong but I thought he said he listed them originally for like $825 and was contacted by the ticket office to take them down as they were above face. So he was saying he wouldn't sell them there for $750 (face) because he would only receive $675 of it.

What are either of you talking about? These tickets were $3,000 for a table of four direct from the Notre Dame ticket office. $750 each IS face value.

Idk, I think Wizards is pulling the long con. He doesn't actually work at ESPN, he's just scalping tickets and using us.

No, I'm charging $750 for a $750 ticket. If I sold them in StubHub for $750, I'd only net $675, which is $75 LESS than face value.

I am trying to get tickets for next years Shamrocks Series game. I typically get my ND home game tickets from a faculty member friend of mine that gets season tickets but hates football. She sells them to me at face value. Are faculty members privy to Shamrock series tickets? Or would i have just as much as a chance to land tickets than my faculty friend?

You should be able to get them yourself next year. This Boston game is the only one where tickets have been difficult to come by. That said, a season ticket holder would probably get better seats.

When you said "netting" $675, I took that as "net profit". That's my bad.

But wooly was right....... if you can afford 4 $750 tickets, you aren't one of us...
