Question... do you know if they play Canadian rules football? Or American? I just realized that the highlights appear to be 10v10.
He plays American rules.
And this comes from where? Interview?
Jamie Uyeyama, who grew up in the area Claypool is from. It's 11 v. 11 but still a lot different strategically than most American schools.
Thanks.
Abbotsford is about the size of Fort Wayne, maybe a little smaller, and is sort of "Vancouverish." But its southern boundary is the Washington State line. So it is as close to the US as you can get in Canada; maybe that has an effect on the rules.
The Google search indicated BC generally plays American rules.
Claypool reminded me of Allen Lazard and I think someone on here may have mentioned it as well. FWIW, comparing their Opening combine results (Ht, Wt, 40, Shuttle, Powerball, Vert, Overall):
Claypool: 2016 WR - 6-5.5, 214, 4.66, 4.31, 33.5, 35.1, 99.21
Lazard: 2014 WR - 6-4.5, 207, 4.65, 4.26, 40.5, 34.6, 114.21

After his performance at The Opening, Chase is now aon 247 (91 rating) and 247Comp (.8940 rating).
Notre Dame commit Chase Claypool has made the move up from three-star (89) to four-star (91) after his strong week in Oregon. Claypool is one of the nation's most physically imposing receivers and we could see him growing into a tight end long term. He's also extremely athletic though and he's only just beginning to move towards his potential. He could rise even higher with a strong senior showing.

Edit: I considered posting the updates to each committed profile, but that would just spam the board. Perhaps if there's a mod with some time this week, that can be done without the unnecessary bumping of posts.
FWIW, Claypool seems like the biggest riser in this update among ND commits.
Moved up to #196 overall and a 4 star prospect at Rivals.
