His play when he came in after the injury was pretty predictable. Probably didn't practice with the first unit during the Virginia preparation and goes in cold in the 3rd quarter. Pretty harsh situation.
His play during the last drive is just pure magic. That was awesome. There might still be a light fellas. Believe.

He is widely regarded as the best QB prospect in history of the city of Toledo.

With the zone read you don't necessarily need to have blazing speed (Tommy aside of course, he wasn't mobile at all really), you need to have good instincts and reaction time. Prior to Zaire our QBs under BK couldn't run it because they couldn't consistently read the edge and make the right call a majority of the time. Kizer has enough speed to run it, but he's not going to be the same kind of running threat that Zaire was I think. I could see BK running it a bit each game, but I don't think we're going to see the same dedication to QB designed runs for Kizer.
