We do not disagree on this. This is a typical Clintonesque, self-inflicted problem. It is almost if her and Bill do things that they know will cause controversy so they can continue to claim victimization when people call them out. This causes people to take sides in support or rejection of them, and when it happens enough they claim there is a pattern -- a vast right wing conspiracy. It is pessimistic, low ball politics. This is why I don't think I could vote for Hillary.

So 19% of Republicans support candidates who aren't crazy and have won a single election before. All you need to know about that bunch.

And 100% of Democrats support a loser. Your point is?

Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday that he "would not hesitate" to run for president if he concludes that he can launch a "viable" campaign and that his family can make it through a presidential bid following the recent death of his son.
"If I can reach that conclusion that we can do it in a fashion that would still make it viable, I would not hesitate to do it," Biden said at Ahavath Achim Synagogue in Atlanta.
Biden said he was still gauging his family's "emotional energy" to join the race, calling it "the most relevant factor" in his decision-making process.
The comments are Biden's first public remarks about the potential for a 2016 run since reports have surfaced that he is seriously weighing a presidential bid. He spoke about his prospects when he took questions from attendees after his speech, which largely focused on foreign policy, and the 2016 inquiry was the first question asked.
"I will be straightforward with you. The most relevant factor in my decision is whether my family and I have the emotional energy to run," Biden told the crowd. "The honest to God answer is I just don't know."

Can you imagine the volume of stupid sound bites there will be of good ole Joe if he decides to run? He might actually make Trump sound sane.
That's exactly right. Say what you will about Biden being a goofy dude who should think before he speaks every now and then, but at least he is respected on Capitol Hill and one of the more knowledgeable guys in the foreign policy realm.I don't know how you could even compare those two. Biden is nowhere close to Trump on the crazy train. Now Biden is up there with Perry on the unforced error scale.
I find it interesting that the Dems quickly run to the oldest, whitest, inner beltline codgers the minute they think they have a lead. Where is the youth and diversity? Is Biden really the best alternative they can come up with?

Biden > Trump, every damn day
It seems like you suggesting that the GOP is the party of "diversity"? If so, I find it difficult to believe that you sincerely think that is an accurate assessment. Look beyond the candidates ... what do their proposed policies offer in the way of diversity for Americans, or to help young people grow into vibrant and productive citizens? When you have 20 candidates, you can accidentally look diverse. No matter how diverse the GOP candidates may look in the early stages of this election, I guarantee that a white man will end up as the GOP's candidate, and his policies will almost certainly continue to alienate minorities and young people (and women). Diversity in politics is more than a superficial skin color/gender assessment ... it's about ideas.
Different kind of experience. Trump has executive experience though he lacks political experience. Obama had zero executive experience and very little political experience.Question... when Obama was running for Prez the first time, and experience was a major concern for conservatives. Would not being able to name a single leader of any terrorist organization gotten him slayed?
Why does Trump seemingly get a pass and can excuse it as a "gotcha" question? Poor guy... everybody is always treating him unfairly.

I'm not Trump-lover, but that's the answer.
No he would not have been slayed and he never would have been asked that question. It comes with having good handlers and only giving speeches instead of engaging in an open dialogue with reporters.
I really don't care if any of these bozos can recite world leaders by heart or not, I care if they are managing the people who do with clear goals and objectives (versus being managed by them).
You think Trump is getting a pass? Seriously? The very article you posted to bring this topic up in the first place is proof that he's not getting a pass. He's even getting it from the right. Glenn Beck has been ripping him for months, most recently about how he claims to be a religious guy but is a total fraud. He got asked all kinds of questions. Crazy questions about his birth certificate, his family history, friends. Are you actually serious?
I totally disagree. Hypocrisy is strong when it comes to Trump. All of the things Obama was attacked with in his first campaign, Trump is getting a pass for now.

Again... If Obama would have been asked this question and didn't have an answer, he would have been slayed. If Obama would have called Mexicans rapists, he would have been slayed. If Obama would have said McCain wasn't a war hero, he would have been slayed.
The list goes on and on. Any one of those comments would have been a Howard Dean scream for Obama. But it's standard quo for Trump.
