was on an unofficial visit to stanford recently

Fuller was also introduced to Stanford's admissions requirements on the trip.

"(In order to be admitted, I'd have to take) two AP classes, you have to write five essays," Fuller said. "That wouldn't be the most enjoyable but if I feel like that's the right school for me I wouldn't mind."

"I didn't know much about Stanford and I never got a vibe from the program," Fuller said. "I just knew their education is unparalleled and they beat UCLA most of the time they play them :). So that's pretty much all I knew, but now I know a lot about them."

He said his interest in the Cardinal is "very high."

"Their education is, like, unparalleled," Fuller said. "It would be pretty hard to pass up that."

He doesn't have any trips set for this summer, but thinks he might take a visit to Notre Dame.

Fuller said he's in most frequent contact with Stanford, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Rutgers.

Disturbing he is hearing most from other schools and not us.. Would have guessed BVG, Lyght and even Kelly would be all over this kid, true difference maker in the secondary

Well that explains it right there. They only want safeties that take until their senior year to show something. And runningbacks that can pick up a blitz. Difference makers and ability to run, pfff.

moar fullbacks?

"I am not too far along as people might think," Fuller said of the recruiting process. "The schools I talk to a lot are Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, Michigan, Notre Dame mostly."

"I took a visit to Ohio State in early April and since then, they have been trying to get me back there again," Fuller said. "Things are good with them. Penn State, I visited a lot there. It's a family vibe there and I feel really comfortable there."

Notre Dame is also pursuing Fuller.

"I have talked to [Notre Dame quarterback] Brandon Wimbush since I was little," Fuller said. "He just speaks volumes of the stuff they do there. He is real happy with his decision."

"I will probably get some visits in late July/early August," Fuller said. "I am thinking like Notre Dame, Rutgers, Penn State. But I am really not sure yet."
"I definitely want a school that pays attention to academics. I want their graduation rate to be really good. And with football, I want them to be able to develop me into the best player I can be."

ISD brings up the Fuller family a lot during podcasts. They're convinced that ND could've landed his bro and they feel good about Jordan once he gets to campus. Pretty sure I've heard Mike say that the Fuller family like's ND a lot.

Only half filled at DB. We have 2 safeties and are going to take 2 more. We have 1 CB and are going to take at least 1 more.

Elliot could be a swing DB too. Staff has a lot of flexibility with DB recruiting still, while having the luxury of starting to narrow their focus on some they consider can't miss.

What are we recruiting him at? CB? just wondering. We are almost filled up at the DB position.

I would say safety and he is a take all day regardless of how many DB's we have committed. He is a truly special player and game changer, would be huge to land him as he would have a chance at starting his Freshmen season

Looks electric with the ball in his hands, yet hits like a truck. I'm glad I don't have to choose whether to put him on offense or defense.

I don't think Michigan is the threat here. Sounds like OSU at this point.

From Irish247, it sounds like the visit went really well. We did what we needed to do to ensure we're in this until the end. Wiltfong believe we'll get an official.

Gotta hope OSU continues to feel up..... If we can get him on an official and play good defense I think we have a real chance.... Lot of big "ifs" though I know

So his visit is over? He was on his way just 12 hours ago and he's already gone? Thought he was visiting for the weekend. Not sure I would have any confidence if a kid travels all the way from New Jersey for a visit that lasts a few hours. Please tell me I'm missing something.

Most visits only last a couple hours. I am not sure what more you are looking for?

Kids arrive take a visit to see the facilities, stadium and campus. That lasts about an hour, then they meet with academic support for 30-45mins, then meet for an hour or two with the coaching staff on a typical visit.

His tape reminds me so much of Kei's coming out of high school in the way he moves. On defense he's a willing hitter if not a big hitter, and his break on the ball is elite. Could definitely see him project to free safety.

Whenever I read an article after a recruit visits, the impression was he was here all day. Also, a lot of the kids that travel that far seem to stay the night or visit more than one school. If he came all this way just for a 2 hour visit with us and we aren't part of some Midwest tour, that is a good thing, IMO, that we are high on his list. Plus, posts in Caleb Kelly's thread stated he was trying to visit with Fuller. That sounds like they would be here for awhile, maybe hanging with current players, staying the night etc. Can't see kids traveling from opposite ends of the country to meet in the Midwest for a couple hours. So yeah, was looking for more.
