Talking with the Koon and Panda and we are going to get an IE tailgate going this year for a game. I'm thinking the Umass game because tickets won't be that hard to get. There will be tons of drinking and other reckless mischief so don't bring the kids. I just wanna do hood rat stuff with you guys. Let's all start planning something

Well shit you already lost Panda!

You lost me at "koon" but when you're up here we'll have to get together. I'm actually traveling to Green Bay some time in October so I might have to hit you up then. I'll be staying either in Racine or GB, but I'll probably set my schedule so I can spend the night in GB.

Why don't you two just get married already? You can do that now.

Do it man, maybe I'll save you a hotel fee. I'll take you to Lambeau and drink some great craft beer. Talk ND football, have a grand ole time.

Haha...you just gave more fuel for the clowns' fire lol.

My employer pays for the hotel so it's all good. But yeah, it should work out. I'll be visiting a school in Racine first, be done by 2, then roll up to Green Bay, where I'll be visiting another school the next morning. Looking forward to checking out Lambeau Field.

Anyone planning on coming down for the Clemson game? I am definitely interested in hanging out with whoever makes it down. I have not secured tickets yet but I will definitely love to hang out/meet up regardless.

My intent was to go to that game but the price of housing and lack of options close to the stadium turned my friends and I off. We are going to Texas though

I'll be there. Flying one of my buddies in from Indy. Camping on the water at Sadlers Creek State Park.

Camping at Sadlers Creek is only 20 or 25 minutes from the stadium. Large sites on the water with electric for like 30 or 40 bucks. The tickets were high though.

That's a great location. Smart move camping. Hotels are ridiculous.

Yep, we're going in on a Thursday night. A little fishing, lot of beer, etc.. We figured it would be safer, cheaper, funner (Q dshans), etc.. We'll go in Saturday to tailgate, and may stay for post game bar hopping. Hey, can you uber from Sadlers (no italics).

Not really what we try to do when we go to away games. Like to be close to the action and preferably in a hotel for various reasons.

Some Clemson alum chicks actually turned me on to the place
Not sure about now, but they said 10 years ago it was a popular spot for fans, especially the RVers and college students. Have no idea honestly what to expect.

Not sure but you should get into town well over four hours before the game. The whole town is basically a parking lot on game nights. I guess if you want to do über then you won't be tailgating in your car. Your best bet is to get on campus ASAP and enjoy.

If we drive in, will probably pre-pay off stubhub for one of the lots. little high, but worth the peace of mind. If we're able to uber, will take a couple throw away bag coolers and keep it simple. I've got a few Clemson buddies who should be there with a tailgate set up if I'm lucky.

We'd all be flying in and not trying to take 20 minute cab rides back and forth to tailgating and bars. We thought about renting a lake house or something but idk it just isn't going to work out. This will be the first year we don't do an away game (other than the Natty of course). But we are going to Austin next year. Already have a 15 person house rented out lol.

I hear ya. But if it even makes a difference there is no "taking cabs" around Clemson. It's literally so small you can walk everywhere. Once you are there on game day you are there till the game starts.

If there is enough interest for one particular game, ArrowRyan and I will be attending every home game and I am sure we could organize something.
