Lynch transferred. Which was maybe addition by subtraction but his potential was undeniably through the roof.
I think he may have been referring to Tommy and Cierre both being suspended to start the season.

SMH. Just wondering, did anything like this or worse happen in that 2012 off-season? Thanks.
Bummer. I had high expectations for him this season
Will miss seeing him back there just because I still think he can be very good but I think Dexter Willams could be better. Loved his film and hey we get to see a freshman back play! All we lost was some swag, more over hype and part of koons goons bod squad. I swear there are some ND fans think he will win a Heisman before he leaves here. Already feel like he's been here for five years
Even with this news, I doubt we will see a freshman back play.
It was, although I didn't hear about it personally until very recently. People on the beat and actual insiders "knew a month(s) ago."
Some beat -- hold on to a scoop for a month?
This was known for a few months inside ND circles.--per loy
if so, makes you now wonder if this was another reason cj was tried out at RB
I don't understand why Greg Bryant is getting a four game suspension for smoking pot. Unless this is second or third failed test. I mean Tommy Rees punches a cop and Floyd gets a DUI and doesn't miss a game.

Folston wearing a red jersey with the QBs during camp?
There's another name too that could be suspended too and he fills a role similar to Bryant at a different position... not really needed right now, but if injuries pop up he could be a value piece.
Oh, wait..............I don't understand why Greg Bryant is getting a four game suspension for smoking pot. Unless this is second or third failed test. I mean Tommy Rees punches a cop and Floyd gets a DUI and doesn't miss a game.
It could very well be that it speaks to the character exhibited by the people in question. Maybe Rees and Floyd were committed guys, who never had little problems, and that mitigated the circumstances surrounding their "big one". And maybe Bryant has been a pain in the ass from day one, and this was just the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back?
