He is at Michigan by himself. I don't think Mitchell is one that speaks to the media too much.

I don't see what these players are seeing in Michigan? They have been horrible for 3 years now. Do they even have a QB this year? Yeah they have 20 Commits in their class but their class isn't that great a few nice pieces then its a huge drop off.
Not an RKG?

What in the hell does that even mean? They offered him and went after him hard so how would the staff not think he's an RKG. Term honestly needs to die

will decide between SCUM and pOSU sometime before the end of the month as per mgoblog
committed to Michigan.
What a sad, sad decision to make. Will he still visit? Hopefully he's open to change after the season once he sees Harbaugh couldn't polish a turd.
back to back 11-1 seasons at USD, winning the Pioneer League Championship both years and developed QB Josh Johnson into an NFL draft pick. At USD. A program that had never won 10 games or more in a season, had never won the Pioneer Leauge Championship, and never had a player drafted by the NFL.
Moves up to Stanford in 2007, takes over a team that went 1-11 in 2006, that was literally in shambles, and was probably the worst program in major college football, beats USC as a 42 point underdog in the Coliseum with a 3rd string QB, and by his 4th season takes them all the way from 1-11 to 12-1 with a BCS bowl win. Not to mention he recruits and develops QB Andrew Luck, maybe only the greatest NFL QB draft prospect since John Elway.
Moves up to San Fransisco 49ers in 2011, takes over a team that went 6-10 in 2010 and hadn't been to the playoffs in 8 seasons, hadn't done better than 7-9 in that 8 year span, turns Alex freaking Smith into a startable NFL QB and goes to the NFC championship in his first year as coach. Takes them to two more NFC championships and a Super Bowl. Finishes his 4 years up at San Fransisco including playoff games with a 49-22-1 total record, which is the highest winning % in NFL history for over 70 games coached. San Fransisco by the way had went 46-82 in the 8 years before him and didn't make the playoffs one time. San Fransisco is going right back into the toilet without him.
I'd say Jim Harbaugh has proven to be very good at polishing turds, and doing so pretty quickly I might add.

Lol. I don't mind the punishment, this is an ND board afterall.
Just saying to that guy, don't act like Harbaugh can't coach. I see that a lot on this board. I know it's an ND board, but Jim Harbaugh is a hell of a coach. You can dislike him all you want, I know many do. But the man is one of the very best football coaches on planet earth.

Harbaugh can't coach, he's just been lucky an abnormally high amount. He's never had to take a program as terrible as Michigan and win. At Stanford, he had the appeal of a strong academic school and being in California and he still only had one good season. Now it could be argued he set it up for his predecessor but he also was the beneficiary of having Andrew Luck, a once in a decade QB.
And he won at a low-level school that had sh!t competition, great.
In San Fran, he lost the locker room and the people he was beholden to before being run out of town on the heels of a super bowl performance.
This guy is a loud-mouthed trainwreck and we're glad you have him. I'm glad he looked like an imbecile on Cohwerd and I wish your program nothing but failure.
The arrogance is a bit much at this point, given you haven't played a game. I really wish you'd have popped in after the game last year, just to you know....talk as friends.

I found this claim interesting, because 10 wins are hard to come by. So I looked it up. Interestingly, USD was 8-2 the year before Harbaugh got there-- so they weren't bad, and didn't play enough games to get to double digit wins unless they went undefeated.
They went 7-4 his first year.
Personally, I think he is a great coach, but his arrogance appears to be catching up with him.

Harbaugh might sound like a complete weirdo (I think he might even have aspergers), and he probably is a complete douchebag. But the man can coach. He's actually a fantastic coach. Stanford was a FAR bigger mess than Michigan currently is, and he turned that program around to the point that they're now a bigger worry to us recruiting wise than Michigan (think about that...Stanford has almost always SUCKED in football). And yes, he had Andrew Luck...the guy he recruited and developed. From 1-11 to 12-1 and a BCS blowout win? Ridiculous. I don't see how anyone can downplay that.
And he turned San Fran around as well. Yes, they were happy to see him leave...doesn't mean he didn't achieve what he did there. 25+ NFL teams would kill for that 3 year run he had.
Talk shit about Michigan all you want, but anyone sounds foolish when they say Harbaugh can't coach or even say he's not that good. I hope he crashes and burns at Michigan, but I would never doubt his credentials. This isn't a CW situation....he's earned that huge contract.
I'm sorry but arguing against Harbaugh's record as a coach is pretty asinine. His teams were the cream of the Pac-12 for years at STANFORD, not to mention wooped us convincingly on a regular basis at every level. He then took an underachieving San Fran team to a NFC championship game and a super bowl. He doesn't have anything left to prove to anybody as a head coach.
How can one of the very best football coaches on planet earth not have a championship?
I think he's a good coach and will do well at Michigan. That isn't even my point. It's guys like you that suddenly act like Michigan is a good football team and you haven't even played a damn game with him as your coach. The pompous attitude, the assumed nature of your post and simply the fact that I don't like you makes me pissed when I see you post.
Get the *uck out of here, already.
*uck...
