Here's an article from Watchers on the Wall with more casting calls for S6. Sounds like we may be seeing Arthur Dayne, Wyman Manderly, and Greatjon Umber.

Tower of Joy flashback? Rickon/ Osha at The Last Hearth? Northern Conspiracy? GET HYPE!

Oh I'd love to see Arthur Dayne, but can you really show him with out Howland?

I thought Greatjon was already cast?

A Tower of Joy flashback could be incredible. 6 (including Ned and Howland) v. 3 Kingsguard with only 2 survivors out of the whole bunch. Could be absolutely epic.

I'd be surprised if Howland was omitted, simply because Jojen and Meera have already been included. He's also the ideal candidate for tying past and present together for the show audience, since they aren't privy to much of the backstory that's revealed in Martin's story.

I thought Greatjon was already cast?

He was, but we haven't seen Clive Mantle since S2, and Gregor Clegane has already been recast twice.

AHH I KNEW THERE WOULD BE FLASHBACKS!!!

how could there not be...hbo pretty much all caught up to GRRM noww, and have been previewing some thingsas well.

nowhere to go but the whole greyjoy storyline and couple others...and also backwards.

cmon GRRM lets finish this thing already....already feel next season on hbo is going to be worse yet.

They're going to move ahead of the books.

I think there is going to be a lot of flashback material in S6 because they know TWOW is almost done.

I can only hope that you're right and that they do everything they can to limit spoilers...

But even flashbacks could still be TWoW spoilers, rather than just filler. I think [hope] that there will be plenty of flashbacks in the TWoW, via Bran warging into Weirwoods, so flashbacks might still be spoilers.

If R+L=J, we'll need to find that out somehow. And short of Howland Reed making a triumphant return to the limelight and divulging the secret, it will probably need to be a flashback of some sort, and there aren't many ways for that to legitimately happen, unless it's Bran using a power that has already been given a few teasers.

Oh that's interesting, about Bran and the weir woods.

I was surprised to see you say, "short of Howland Reed ..." like its unlikely he would be the way we find out R+L=J. I always thought that was exactly how we would find out.

My wife got me The World of Ice and Fire for Father's Day and hot damn is it awesome. The illustrations alone are worth the price of admission.

GRRM: "There is this one character who is doomed since I introduced him, but I didn't how he is going to die. Since yesterday I know what to do."

/r/asoiaf seems to think that it's Tommen. So whodunnit? I'm going with Ser Pounce, in the throne room, with the candle stick.

Of all the ASOIAF betrayals, Ser Pounce would be the greatest of them all.

Could be Rickon.

We've got a very credible prophecy from Maggy the Frog stating that all of the Lannister children are doomed. Contra the Starks who, all things considered, are doing pretty well, since only two of them are actually dead. Between the toddler kings, the safe money's on Tommen to kick it first.

Never thought Tommen would last long. I'll set the over/under at episode 4 of next season. My shocker prediction however, is about Cersie and Jaime. One of them will kill the other.

Not much of a shocker, to be honest:

"And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you."

Valonquar means "little brother" in High Valyrian. Cersei of course thinks it means Tyrion, but having Jamie kill her is far more poetic and in line with Martin's style.

Whiskey - can you translate (haven't read the books). What is the Valoquar, and is it in the series? Looked at the site but still couldn't make heads or tails in limited reading. And who the hell is Maggy the Frog lol.

Perhaps GRRM realized that Tommen must die at the hands of Cersei somehow, like when she nearly offed him during the Battle of the Blackwater, that way Jaime has a reason to fulfill the prophecy

Maggy the Frog is a witch who made several prophecies about Cersei's future. We learn about this through Cersei's inner monologue in one of her chapters from AFfC. Thus far, dreams, visions and prophecies have been Martin's favorite foreshadowing tools.

As I mentioned above, "valonquar" is High Valyrian for "little brother". Cersei assumes that means Tyrion will kill her, but Jamie is more likely for a whole host of reasons.

Got it. Thank you!
So Jaime came out before Cersie?
