Haven't we beaten Stanford 2 out of the last 3 meetings? I think they're definitely a formidable opponent but I'm not sure Id say they've outperformed us in he near term. Similar records last year, we won head to head, and had a better bowl game win. They get the nod in 2013 but we certainly get the nod in 2012.

Stanford since 2012? ND... since 2011? A draw. But ask yourself, would you trade programs with them right now for '15 and forward? I wouldn't.

MSU? recently as a successful program in it's entirety?... them. .except.... we beat them the last three times we played them and ruined any chance they had to play for the NC in '13. Also, I wouldn't trade programs with them either.

Yeah, he's rather interesting. And he posts from a shocking large number of IP addresses which means he's mostly from a mobile device or using proxies, either way he doesn't match with any other known names except ARALOU for one post. His registration IP oddly is shared with only the Irish Envy bot... who he also lists as referrer...

Maybe you're right about taking a Homer pill. I guess I'm a bit jaded right now. I've drank the kool aid for years now and keep getting burned. I'm in a Show Me mode. No more hype, no more talk, no more excuses. Just Show Me.

Wish this kid would come to ND and there's still time but I have a friend that coaches in IL and he has a really good feel and a bit of inside info on area recruits and doesn't see this one happening. He has been wrong before but not often.

Good grief!! And it was assumed that Harbaugh and Meyer were going to be the flies in the ointment. King, Corley, Lyke, A. Robertson. Who the hell is recruiting there?? Didn't they lose their D-coordinator?

Exactly. Unfortunately we are number 3 in the midwest now. Behind OSU and MSU.

If I had to choose I would rather see a kid go to the dirty Spartans than to Michigan or Ohio St.

Did we recruit this kid hard at all?

This probably all about academics-it takes a certain type of superstar high schooler to handle the Nd academics and do your own work.
