Made the initial Rivals100 for 2017.

Any highly rated Chicagoland player is going to be a target as long as he's had a couple of years of Spanish. He's from a nice area with good public schools, I used to live in this district back before the turn of the century...(love saying that). Better chance than not he is ok academically.

The area is good for football although NV isn't in the same conference as the traditional powers of the area like the Naperville North and Central, Wheaton-Warrenvilles, the next district east is Bollingbrook where MDT is from.

Like the fact that he plays FS too.

Debuted as a .9408 Composite.

Visited OSU and Michigan recently.

Any news on contact from the staff? 6-3, Chicagoland, gotta think that it will happen at some point.

Has added UCinn, Maryland, Vandy and Wisco offers since the summer.

Camped at U Miami, Iowa St. & Michigan

Having a good season playing in traditionally one of the strongest, if not strongest, big school conference in the Chicago suburbs with the other Naperville and Wheaton-Warrenville schools.

Recently followed David Adams for what it's worth.

Added Indiana, Penn St, Minnesota and Syracuse offers.

Was named Scout Underclassman All American WR along with Donovan Peoples-Jones.

Was at Jan 23rd Jr Day and Loy is hinting an offer is probably coming soon.

From Wiltfong's Pylon 7v7 write up on 247:

Naperville (Ill.) Neuqua Valley Top247 receiver Isaiah Robertson has barely tapped into his potential. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Robertson is the most high-profile recruit on the well-oiled Boom Team machine that looked good in space and he’s typically going to come down with the 1-on-1 ball. Penn State is in good position and a Notre Dame offer would be a game-changer.

Thanks GB......I thought he looked good on film, just wondering if he was good enough for the staff to warrant an offer.

He'll be Irish if:

A combination of Tarik Black, OSB and one other top of the board WR's already offered start trending away. If they didn't like where they stood with players already with offers, they'd offer immediately. My guess is Denbrock's been recruiting him pretty hard all along and telling him his time is coming.

The good news is even though he's up to 14 offers he hasn't gotten a signature offer yet that might make him trend away.

Here comes the --> He's commiting to OSU today in 3-2-1...

A kid with the combo name of two of the most interesting recruiting storylines in recent memory (Isaiah McKenzie/Demetris Robertson). You can't make this stuff up. Get your popcorn ready folks.

Yes. Joe Schmidt was a linebacker, so anything and everything is possible.

*Quotes Notre Dame's W/L record while Joe started to justify why he was a starter as if no one else had any say in Notre Dame winning those games*

Anyone think he could be a linebacker?

He plays FS now on D. I don't think so. He at least 6-3 now and he might not be done. His Dad's 6-7. He played with a HS friend of mine at Wisconsin. I just saw his name in an ISD story and was like, i know him.

Odd that him being a Badger legacy hasn't come up yet.

Offer him as an athlete. If he keeps growing, there are about five positions (on either side of the ball, let alone special teams) that he could play.

Be honest with him. Let him try what he wants but show him the math. It is always best for a player to find the 'right' positon. Because that is the single most important factor in 'player development.' And the better you get the more likely you play after college, and if you are in the zone, you get a lot of money.

So these kids all need to hear about CJ, Mathias Farley, and James Onwualu!
