I think the last time Notre Dame opened with a big game was Nebraska? I can't remember if that was the opener or not. Almost pulled an upset that day.

Saw that and was coming to post. Could be a big game for him, first big start and against a team that heavily recruited him in state.

Anyone know where I can get one of these signs? Doubt they sell them but I imagine it is a hard item to google so you never know.

Looking at the pic, I imagine you can find them pretty easily. You then make the two pieces for the schools, or it may come with a kit to create your own.

Update........Found on on EBay. Looks the same and comes with some pre-made signs.

You know, it's no wonder we come out pumped with a lot of energy at the beginning of the season. The kids have to watch the sign all off season, waiting 200+ days to face our first opponent, watching the time tick off. After that first game you only get 7-14 days for each subsequent opponent to get pumped and prepared :laugh:

Between this kid, the Hulk beast Luatua, and now Aliz'e Jones, Kelly should be able to run all kinds of formations next season. A great OL, very talented TE's, a nice stable of RB's, and if the right leader at QB is chosen, I see great things for next year! We are close and it showed this past season, now it is time for these guys to step up to the challenge. The talent is there, just need the leaders on the team to step up and do just that, lead!

I'm thinking the thing. I'm off work today so I'm watching a recording of the ND-LSU game. Add the fact that we are bringing in some big body wide receivers assuming ESB signs with ND. I think next year's offense could be lights out. Very excited at the possibility of what could be.

Yeah, you have to make the sections for it to be specialized. Look at the pic of the ND one. You can tell they made those.

this goes with out saying....as soon as i saw him limp off, i just figured he was done for the year. so anything less than that is a positive, i guess...
